I have stayed at the Pfister in the past, but lately being a Hilton Honors member, I have naturally gravitated towards their chain of hotels. After getting a fantastic rate through TripAdvisor, I decided to "wave" my Hilton points accumulation and "room" at the Pfister. It was a wise decision. My large room in the tower was renovated in a... More

Fancy place. We had a great room. Was comfortable with a clean roomy bathroom. Beds were comfortable also. Also had a great view of the lake. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking choice of self or valet but self was very easy. Had a nice stay.

Stepping into the lobby is stepping back through time. The staff wears formal clothes. There's a guy playing the piano. They even have an "artist in residence" who makes clay pots. (Weird.) When we got up to our room, it seemed very stuffy and dark. The room was segmented into two sections with a parlor/sitting room and a separate bedroom.... More

I stayed at the Pfister four nights. I kept thinking of The Shining while there as it's an old time hotel (built in the 1890s) with vintage wood work, fixtures, etc. It's a very classy place but is dated (but that adds to the atmosphere and general feel of the place). It's modern where it needs to be: bathrooms, furniture,... More

The Pfister Hotel is old and beautiful! It was elegant, clean, and personnel was very friendly. There is a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and the city of Milwaukee on the top floor. There is also a pool one this floor. The restaurant is very nice and the food is really good, too. I'm only sorry we only spent one... More

Excellent room, outstanding service and comfortable beds. Location in "East Town" the Pfister is proximate to trendy restaurants, the Third Ward, historic 3rd Street and German Town, and not far from Brady Street. Its a short drive to Marquette University and the Brady Center. Overall a great value.

My husband and I stayed in a king suite (2 rooms) at the Pfister Hotel last week-end and was pleasantly surprised. The owners have successfully married the original old charm of the past with modern day amenities with guest comfort in mind all the way. We found our rooms to be spectacular with high ceilings, gorgeous crown molding and mammoth... More

I’d pick the Pfister as the best hotel in the city when location, amenities and service are combined. The historic 19th century lobby area is a visual treat. Our tower room, while fairly small, was tastefully designed and included enough outlets everywhere, room darkening drapes, comfortable bed and was quiet. I’m really picky about hotel bathrooms but I didn’t find... More

We only stayed at this hotel for one night, I got a great deal on a room for less than $125. It was a great deal. The property is historic and beautiful inside and out. Staff is very friendly and lovely from the concierge to the maintenance man we saw in the elevator several times. They have a reasonably priced... More

This beautiful hotel is a gem in Milwaukee. The service was impeccable; the rooms exquisite and the atmosphere filled with old world charm. It was a true breath of fresh air from the many hotel chains in this world. It's a one-of-a-kind and I can't wait to go back one day and stay there again.
