Spent the Memorial Day weekend at Devil's Head resort to play golf. The hotel was OK, clean and comfortable with good service but the golf course was terrible, poorly maintained and seemed like they hadn't watered the greens in years. Bunkers had sand that was never raked. The restaurant food was average at best. The breakfast food was a joke,... More

The lobby and the restaurant are lovely so it was quite disappointing to arrive at the Inn to a disgustingly dirty entry area with cig butts on the worn out indoor/outdoor carpet on the outside steps and the dirty, dirty cob web filled front entry window. In fact, all the windows were dirty especially the plexiglass ones on the walkway... More

As a snowboarder, nothing compares to the real mountains. There are no real mountains in the midwest. We live in northwest Indiana, and as far as local ski resorts, Devil's Head Ski Resort is probably my favorite. It is about a 5 hr drive, so we usually stay the weekend and board the slopes 2 days. I think that the... More

Let's start with the fact that our room was clean and safe. Sure, the rooms need an upgrade - the 19" boob-tube and the mattresses the Flintstones used are still there, but all in all it was a decent room and worth the price we paid for it. Being on the 2nd floor ended up not being as much of... More

We took 4 teenagers up to Snowboard and overall, it was a great experience. The positives were definitely the staff. We probably were in contact with 15 different staff people and every one of them were helpful, friendly and the kind of people you would expect at a 4/5 star resort. The challenge is that the resort is (as everyone... More

The skiing was awesome. The snow was well-groomed, the lines were short, the people who work there are extra nice. The resort itself needs a serious makeover. Although everything is relatively clean, the decor and ambiance was outdated and/or non-existent. The whole place from the registration area to the hallways to the restaurants and rooms needs some serious updating and... More

Hotel is very dated, and the maid service almost non-existent. Rooms were dirty, and no one vacuumed for the whole 7 days we stayed. Trash was not emptied, and we had to request that the room staff removed the trash. Will not stay at this hotel again. Only nice part was the restaurant and bar.

We came down to Devils Head for new years skiing and our expectations were low because we have not had any snow this year. When we got there all of the runs were open and we had a great time. Devils Head did an amazing job with making fake snow. It was all powder and practically no icy sections. I... More

We booked our trip before reading the reviews...I was really nervous. We are a family of four. Yes, the lodging is dated, and the walls are thin. But, the skiing was great, no lines. Our kids had three days of lessons, taught by wonderful instructors. My family and I would definitely come back. Our next trip I would bring our... More

There was missing sections of the ceiling in the hallways and they were extremely dirty. The "suite" was OK for 1996 and we had a broken window with tape sealing it. I would suggest not staying in the hotel section of the resort. As for the ski hill, it's extremely flat. They have 3 decent runs and 2 are closed... More
