Our room was well-cleaned and relatively comfortable, but everything here did seem older and worn down. Some of the sheets and towels had small, old stains on them. (Again, they were clean, just stained.) The place could do with some new stuff. The paint on our door was scratched (looked like someone scratched the letter A into it), and the... More

Our stay here was very nice. The room was clean and nice size for a one bedroom. We agree, ignore the negative reviews. Many of the motels in the area were hosting parents and athletes for the state tournament. Some of the other motels refused the students and familes the free breakfast. These hotels were in the $90 range.Econo Lodge did no such thing.Breakfast was for... We had a change of plans and needed a hotel at the last minute. We normally wouldn’t stay at an Econo Lodge but due to the holiday weekend many hotels were full so we took a chance. The staff was friendly and helpful but the whole property needs some updating and could be cleaner in general.... thankful to have some... More

Ignore the negative reviews; this hotel is all that is expected when paying $60 for a room. The place is a bit dates but serves its purpose well. The beds are comfortable, the TV selection was fine, the linens were soft and the pool area was nice. The hotel was located in a nice area with access to Wal-Mart and... More

Best part of our stay was leaving. Hotel was run down, but with right management, could have been alot better. There was a certain oppression I sensed in being there, and while it was mid-range in cost, the towels were threadbare and the beds were not as comfortable as many. They did try to be pleasant, so no problem with... More

I stayed here three nights due to a family commitment in town. Thought I'd save a few bucks and went for the low rates. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. The continental breakfast was sadly lacking - cold cereal, toast, and day old danish. The bagels were dried out and sorry looking. The room was all right, but the... More

This is my second time staying at this property and it's the rate that brought me back. We try to make a weekend visit to some of our favorite Northern Wisconsin bike trails every summer and it's worth it for me to stay away from the tourist areas, drive in for the day to hike, bike, mini-golf or whatever, and... Just like all others I thought the staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were great. However, our room was not "furnished" with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, or hair dryer. With three kids the fridge was needed during the 90 degree day. The pool and hot tub were dirty, could not let the... More
