We stayed here recently and it is a very nice B&B. Very clean and well organized. We arrived late and they made it very easy to check in and get to our room. The building itself is right out of the 1850's from exterior to the decor in each room - tons of character. The breakfast was good but nothing... More

I stayed with my brother here for 3 nights and we couldn't be happier with all the amenities, delicious breakfast and kindness of Karisa and David. Great place for a relaxing get away (Romantic or not).

On a whim my husband booked one night at the Walking Iron B&B for what turned out to be a gorgeous fall weekend! The town of Mazomanie is very small and there isn't a whole lot going on there, but when we drove up to the Walking Iron it could not have been more perfect. The keys were waiting for... More

Every now and then you want to give more than 5 stars. This is one that deserves it. This is our second visit. When we left a few years ago, we knew we would return. It's in a small town that is quiet, but there are a number of very good nearby restaurants (Rookies, Dorf Haus, the Old Mill). Near... More

My wife and I just visited Wisconsin for our first time just to get away. The Walking Iron Bed and Breakfast was a welcomed retreat and a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Walking Iron for a short get-away to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The house is beautiful, comfortable we felt very welcome. Karissa was lovely the day we arrived. Breakfast was fantastic and much more food than I'd expected. We spent at least 30 minutes chatting with both Karissa and Dave and felt like we'd known... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Walking Iron B&B to celebrate our joint birthdays and prior to a daytime showing at American Players Theatre. We stayed in Clara's Veranda which was just what I was hoping for. The room opened out to a beautiful garden setting where it was a great place to sit and relax, read, and sip wine.... More

I visited Wisconsin for a conference in Verona and stayed at this beautiful home placed in the midst of tranquil trees and flowered gardens. The home was elegantly decorated but had a honey feel that was welcoming. Lovely owners who were very gracious! I would stay there again if the opportunity presents.

Comfort both in our rooms and in common area, We felt at home the minute we walked in the door. There were 4 of us and sitting in the front room was the perfect place to plan our day. We have voted to stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stay here each year for the past three years. Each year we buy tickets for the APT. Previously, I had tried other arrangements, and only stumbled upon the Walking Iron B&B when other locations had no vacancy. Once we stayed there we recognized that it was by far the best. So far, we have tried three... More
