We just came home after spending a wonderful night at Audubon Inn. Keith was extremely nice and welcomed us. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. I would recommend staying there. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open yet, and will go back when it does.

A friend and I took advantage of an off-season special for a writer retreat last month. It was the perfect venue. Mid-week was quiet, my room was spacious, uncluttered and immaculate, and my bed was very comfortable. The whirlpool was wonderful! Although Keith (who had owned the inn for just a month) was embarking on a renovation, there was absolutely... More

I stayed here a last week. I wanted to get out of Chicago for some peace and quiet. Keith the new owner was just the best. He always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. My room was beautiful and very clean. Keith is working hard on this place and you can tell. There isn't much to... More

My wife and I had the privilege to stay at the Audubon Inn on Saturday evening. We had excellent and very personal service from Keith, the new owner and Jean, the innkeeper from the moment we arrived until our departure. The entire hotel is beautiful and has a great personality. We especially loved the woodwork, the stained glass windows, and... More

My son got married this past weekend. Being from out of state, my family and I need a place to stay. The Audubon Inn far exceeded my expectations. Jean, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The setting and woodwork alone make it worth seeing.

This historic inn is charming and beautiful but what makes this place memorable is the people. From the owner that made my reservations over the phone, to the Innkeeper that greeted us with a warm smile, to the housekeeper who had towel swans made up on our bed for our anniversary. The room was so clean and decorated in a... More

Great historic hotel in downtown Mayville for a peaceful Getaway. Room was clean and size able with updated bathroom fixtures. Only disappointment was bar and restaurant are closed. However there are plenty of dining options near by.

We were there for 3 nights. Our room didn't get made up at after the first night and after the second night we had to go find someone to do it. The food in the restaurant was good and the service friendly. Astonished that there wasn't one single staff member on the premises during our last night. We were literally... More

Be forewarned--both the bar and restaurant are currently closed, although the hotel's web site does not disclose that. We were quite disappointed. We might have forgiven that, but found the hotel lacking in several other aspects. It was difficult to both check in and check out -- we had to search the hallways for staff. Staff did not seem informed... More

This is a very interesting and historic Inn in a small town nestled near the Horicon Marsh. Our room was as advertised on the website with period furnishings and decorations. Room was very clean and everything worked. Good food and drink at the restaurant and bar on the lower level, but check for serving hours in advance. Mayville is a... More
