My husband and I did a quick overnight trip from Chicago to the Horicon Marsh, and stayed in Mayville at the Audubon Inn. It was wonderful! The room was lovely, and dinner at the restaurant was spectacular. Stacey, the owner, is charming. We spent quite a while discussing the possibility of bringing our extended family to the Inn for Christmas,... more

THis hotel is probably one of the most gorgeous, historical and awesome place that we have stayed at....including some of the places in Italy we have been to....value and food were definitely way above par. WE only live 20 miles away and needed a weekend away....we found a brochure about this place and will definitely return soon.....loved it!!!! D &... more

We stayed at the Audubon Inn in Mayville, WI and I have to say I have never enjoyed a stay away from home so much! The rooms are gorgeous and I loved my jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The lady that checked us in was absolutely wonderful and helpful. The continental breakfast is the best I have seen in any... more

Yesterday was my wife's birthday. We had a great time at the Audubon Inn. The meal was fantastic. The bartender was friendly. The room that we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The service from everyone was super. It is a great place to eat and stay overnight. I would highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing... more

Stayed mid-week for a couple of nights with my wife and two teen-aged daughters. The Inn is beautiful, wonderfully restored and has all the amenities. Had a few drinks in the lounge and the bartender was engaging and personable. Ate a gourmet meal at the Inn's restaurant, Morgan's, and was pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Girls rode bikes... more

Big disappointment compared to other reviews in Trip Advisor. Surly front desk. If you want to turn in early - forget it as music blares from hall way speakers until 930 pm. Whirlpool bath didn't function properly; sewer smells from floor drain until rubber gasket covered it. Breakfast was to start at 0800 - no one in dining room at... more

We took a junior suite. I was stunned by the colors (Purples and Greens)in the room. I beleive it was of the "Queen Anne" style. This was room "Robin 31". Also, there were nice places to lounge on each of the floors. Pricewise- just about rite - I guess it's not easy to maintain a beautiful and historical place like this.... more

My first visit to the Audubon was a pleasurable experience. I was meeting some friends for a drink at the bar. The male bartender was very courteous and social. i didn't know what i wanted to drink so i asked the bartender what was good. i was immediately told of a few new cocktails and they all sounded delightful. the... more

In my business I travel quite a lot, it seems I am on the road more than at home. I recently heard good things about the Audubon Inn in Mayville Wisconsin. I had business outside Milwaukee so I thought I would give it a try. Well let me tell you I felt as if I was royalty. I had a... more
