Trying to find a place to stay above and beyond your standard motel can be a little tricky in northern Wisconsin so we were so happy to find The Lodge. Rooms have been newly renovated and we stayed in a "luxury queen" on the first floor. Loved the extra touches- in room Keurig and Caribou coffee cups, down duvet covering... More

The Lodge Manitowish Waters went above and beyond to make sure we had the most beautiful Northwoods wedding and comfortable first night of wedded bliss! I couldn't recommend this resort enough to anyone who loves the north woods and wholesome hospitality. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff will do whatever it takes... More

I stayed here for a week in the 'off-season' and though the weather didn't work out for me to be outside biking or hiking, I found myself completely at peace here in this 'best kept secret' of a motel. This place is completely immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged. My room was not only newly renovated, clean, and comfortable, but... More

We only spent one night at the Lodge but we were very pleasantly surprised and wish we'd stayed longer. I believe it has recently come under new ownership and their pride and meticulous attention to detail really showed. We had the basic double queen bed on the first floor and it was immaculate, with comfortable beds and lovely linens and... More

We drove up from Chicago for a lovely wedding at the nearby Discovery Center. So where to stay? We chose the Lodge. We had the King fireplace room. Loved it. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, room to move. A nice Flat-screen with tons of options on the tv. Sadly I found the directions as we were heading out the door. Would... More

We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was spotless! Thick, soft towels. Duvet covers on the bed. Quiet and peaceful and a nice continental breakfast. I had to call a few times to make some changes to our reservation and each request was handled so professionally and pleasantly. We will definately be staying here again!

We went up to Timberline over the Martin Luther King weekend. We had spoken to Eric on Monday who let us keep our trailer in the lot until we returned on Friday. After 5.5 hours in a car with two small children we arrived at 8:30 to find the hotel locked up with a note "under new ownership and unable... More

I didn't stay at the Timerline Inn, however by the look of the bar and the outside I would if I could. I did attend a comedy show that was held there at the end of December and I had a great time. It's nice to see the locals trying to do something different for their community. The wine selection... More
