We stayed there a bit ago and very much enjoyed the setting. The only thing that was disappointing was the dinner food for breakfast. Roasted meat, vegetables and a starch at 9:00 a.m. on a weekend morning is not what we were looking forward to. There were no food options for those who did not want supper for breakfast

We stayed in the Red Clay room and had a chance to see each of the other rooms in the Inn. All of the rooms are fantastic. The Inn is the pride and joy of the hosts, Jennifer and Gary. They have taken an old schoolhouse and transformed it into an ultra-cozy, laid back, quaint, comfortable Inn. The hosts are... More

Really cool place; an obvious labor of love for the owners! I've never stayed anywhere else like it. Great location if you're looking for something in between larger towns and Jennifer's cooking is completely worth staying for breakfast! Yum!! Beautiful, eclectic space and a cute little house dog to play with if you are so inclined.

What a wonderful time we had with Gary and Jennifer. The charm and craftsmanship in each room is perfect. Gary is a master carpenter and stair builder and they have transformed this historic Brick school building into a warm and invite bed-and-breakfast. The food that Jennifer serves is extraordinary, and quite healthy, not boring B&B fare, we can't wait to... More

The owners transformed the town's original school into a massive Bed & Breakfast. You could spend hours walking around this building seeing all of the unique details, learning about the history of the building and getting to know the owners. This is easily the most unique B&B we've ever stayed in. Jennifer and Gary have an artistic flair and it... More

Stayed in the Aubergine room. Very large room and huge bath. Beautiful paint and woodwork with fabulous ceiling in my room and throughout the inn. Everything was super clean with attention to every detail. The hosts Jennifer & Gary were so warm and inviting and so clever to have done all these amazing rooms. This is located in one of... More

We had a great time at the Inn, comfortable in every way. I felt like I had very artistic, down to earth, friendly, hard working, and enjoyable family that lived here and I was visiting. A favorite aunt and uncle. They invite you into there home and take care of you in any way they can. On top of that... More

We've stayed here twice, the first on a Christmas eve several years ago with fresh snow falling and a lucious indoor sauna calling our names. The restored and up graded old school is in beautiful condition, and Jennifer's deicious breakfasts are to die for. 12 foot ceiling throughout and the 33 1/3 rpm record collection playble in the dining room... Coming back from Montreal Lyn and I decided to take a mini vacation, were going to fly fish the rush river, but too much rain. The Maiden Rock Inn was simple fabulous and the inn keepers are the best. Oh and the breakfast! to die for, organic if you like that sort of thing, we do, the rooms were amazing,... More
