Stayed here over Labor Day Weekend. Most sites look to be pull thru. If you have a longer camper, be aware the campground roads are somewhat tight with trees. Small fire pits. Had a lot of shade which was nice as it was pretty hot. Pool looked nice, but smallish. Our sites had minimal grass. Everyone here was nice to... More

Cheyenne is 100% right, this is the worst campground I have every been to. The people were rude to say the least and on top of kicking us out and stealing our money, they over charged us to stay with friends who had already paid for the campsite. Of course when they were then kicked out we had to leave... More

We got kicked out after one night during labor day weekend. We had a large group of about 30 people and got kicked out for being too loud, even though we had our radios off and were just sitting around the fire visiting. We stayed in/around the circle site. There was only one "neighbor" who said we were loud and... More

We just got back from a great time. We were here for 7 days. The place was well kept, bathrooms and showers were always clean. The staff were friendly n helpful. Lots of hidden gems in the lakewood area, you just need to do some searching. The pool is clean, but there weren't clear hours, mostly up to the owners... More

Don't stay here especially if you plan to tent camp. You are surrounded by big RV's and sites are small with the littlest firepit I have ever seen. The majority of people staying there are related to the owners and they made you feel like you were "putting them out" if you needed something from the store. Our suggestion if... More

Listened to other reviews and gave this place a chance. We were lucky and got the last spot this weekend due to a cancellation. Our site was large level and close to pool and shower house. I was a little worried about the ATV traffic (we don't) but everyone was very courteous and it was not an issue. We will... More

My wife and I live in Texas in the winter and travel north for the summer. Although we've been RV'ing for many years this is our 2nd year in this "Texas/Wisconsin" routine. We enjoy traveling from place to place meeting new people, experiencing new environments and just enjoying the awesome natural beauty of northern Wisconsin. From the very start we... More

Maple Heights is an outstanding place to be. Super friendly, and extremely helpful staff that personally drops off wood to your campsite. My wife and I watched an outdoor movie they setup on our most recent stay. It's location between Lakewood, and Townsend makes it a great location if someone needs to hit a grocery or hardware store. Tons of... More

My family and I really enjoy camping here. We try to camp here at least two or three times a year. The owners arevery nice and helpful. It's worth the almost 2dead hour drive.

Our family had a great time at Maple Heights. The staff was great and very helpful. Campsites are big and wooded. Bathrooms are clean. The pool was awesome and the new mini golf was fun. We will be back for Laborday weekend and we will be planning a week vacation their next year!
