We just got back from a great time. We were here for 7 days. The place was well kept, bathrooms and showers were always clean. The staff were friendly n helpful. Lots of hidden gems in the lakewood area, you just need to do some searching. The pool is clean, but there weren't clear hours, mostly up to the owners... More

Don't stay here especially if you plan to tent camp. You are surrounded by big RV's and sites are small with the littlest firepit I have ever seen. The majority of people staying there are related to the owners and they made you feel like you were "putting them out" if you needed something from the store. Our suggestion if... More

Listened to other reviews and gave this place a chance. We were lucky and got the last spot this weekend due to a cancellation. Our site was large level and close to pool and shower house. I was a little worried about the ATV traffic (we don't) but everyone was very courteous and it was not an issue. We will... More

My wife and I live in Texas in the winter and travel north for the summer. Although we've been RV'ing for many years this is our 2nd year in this "Texas/Wisconsin" routine. We enjoy traveling from place to place meeting new people, experiencing new environments and just enjoying the awesome natural beauty of northern Wisconsin. From the very start we... More

Maple Heights is an outstanding place to be. Super friendly, and extremely helpful staff that personally drops off wood to your campsite. My wife and I watched an outdoor movie they setup on our most recent stay. It's location between Lakewood, and Townsend makes it a great location if someone needs to hit a grocery or hardware store. Tons of... More

My family and I really enjoy camping here. We try to camp here at least two or three times a year. The owners arevery nice and helpful. It's worth the almost 2dead hour drive.

Our family had a great time at Maple Heights. The staff was great and very helpful. Campsites are big and wooded. Bathrooms are clean. The pool was awesome and the new mini golf was fun. We will be back for Laborday weekend and we will be planning a week vacation their next year!

We started staying at Maple Heights Campground in June of 2010. After traveling the summer and comparing every other campground with Maple Heights we decided to just stay there! For those inclined to ATV, you can hit the trails, Several hundred miles of trails, right from your campsite. The staff of Maple Heights go out of their way to make... More

We stayed at Maple Heights July 9-11 because we planned on tubing on the Wolf River. The campground is clean and there seem to be some updates--a playground, what looked like new cement around the pool, and new tetherball pole... The sites were a decent size. The main problem we had was with the noise and the unfriendly staff. The... More
