Unfortunately this is the only hotel in town - at least the only one we could find. Lake Mills is a wonderful little town, too bad this is their only hotel. The first issue were hidden costs - they charged us for an additional adult in one of the rooms (I rented 2 rooms). They only provided 2 bath towels in each room. No iron or ironing board. We had a broken coffee maker. They only have twin beds, no queens or kings - at least that's what they told us. On our last night we asked for wake-up calls in each room - neither room got a call. When I called and asked for an explanation, management first blamed it on the system and then they claimed that it was working properly - they wouldn't accept my complaint that neither room got a call - they kept claiming that the system was working. I finally got frustrated and said "well I guess I dreamed this whole issue up" and hung up. Believe me, we won't be doing anymore dreaming at this hotel. more
