We were looking for a place so we and our children and their families could stay together without having to drive away from the area. Who knew that a place this spacious, charming and inexpensive would be just outside LaValle Wisconsin? The open main floor Great Room invited conversation at any hour. Lynne was very accommodating to our requests. It... More

I wish I could buy this place and call it home! Just driving in the driveway starts to relax every tight shoulder and neck muscle I have. The scenery of the hills, the river, the barns, the big house is so relaxing, quiet, beautiful, especially with all the beautiful horses in the pasture, the cats, the dog, the rabbits and... More

We had a wonderful time, very peaceful, breakfast was great. After putting the kids to sleep we were able to enjoy the great room and sit and relax. Kids loved it. The wrap around porch was great during a storm and rain as we could still sit outside and enjoy the countryside and watch the horses

Not only does this place have massive amounts of bugs flying in your face but this innkeeper is cruel and neglects her animals. Her dog and cat were left out in the poring rain and are completely malnurished. We had reservations for three nights and the day before she called and cancelled the reservation saying the air conditioning was out.... More

My sister, my sons and I recently stayed at September Farms for 3 nights. We had 3 rooms and shared one bathroom. We chose it for its proximity to some sights we wanted to see (especially the Baraboo Circus museum). Lynn was a great hostess and the accommodations were comfortable. After sightseeing we looked forward to sitting on the wraparound... More

Have stayed at Sept. Farms B&B in all seasons. Innkkeeper is pleasant and gracious. Breakfast are always enjoyable and plentiful - great variety. A home away from home.

Escaped from the city to spend a weekend biking on the serene and pristine "400 Trail" and chose to stay at September Farms because the trail crosses the end of the property's driveway. I'll be back, whether or not I plan to bike or ski. Five reasons why: excellent hospitality and comfort, spectacular views from the wraparound porch, 90-something acres... More

A weekend at September Farms is like finding yourself in a different world for a while. The trip there helps one get a feel for the place. LaValle, about 20 minutes away on foot, only has a few hundred residents, and the the closest big city... depends on what you consider to be big. Geographically it's about midway between Chicago...
