Stayed here three nights with my wife. Had room 401 of light keepers. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Bathroom was large but toilet area was rather dark. We did not use the whirlpool, but did enjoy the multiple shower sprays. Staff was attentive to our questions, yet nothing special. Guess I expected them to be more outgoing welcoming us... More

We stayed two nights in a ground-floor room in the Lightkeeper's Lodge. The Lightkeeper's Lodge is a relatively new building with spacious rooms. We found the room and bathroom to be a bit dark. They had some sort of energy efficient light bulbs that took quite a while to fully warm up. The Inn is pretty much your only option... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Room 403 at the Lightkeeper's Lodge for one night. Very nice room with a hottub that could be opened up to the main room or closed off in the bathroom. The large shower in the bathroom was excellent with many shower heads! Balcony off the room on the 2nd floor with a table, four... More

We stayed here recently and hosted my daughter's wedding reception at the Inn on Madeline Island. Coordinating plans with the staff was easy. The setting was beautiful for pictures early evening. The wait staff was superb. We look forward to making another visit to Madeline Island!

We arrived at checking and was treated very poorly by an older women that had a hard time with English language . We were looking for a room upgrade. And she was quick to say. This is not Vages. Very unprofessional customer service. She should not be in this industry with her rudeness. My husband later came back to office... More

We had one of the off-lake condos whose owner has it rented by the resort. We had several extended-family adults and no small kids, there for a wedding. The condo was clean. Had a spiral-stair to loft. Full kitchen. Two baths, but the better-equipped was entered only through one of the bedrooms. The other was very short on towel racks.... More

What a pleasure! I had not anticipated we would stay on the island, but am so glad we did. The welcome and service we received for our one night stay was remarkable. Thank you very much. The winter price was reasonable and the experience of driving the ice road unforgettable. The room was huge and welcoming. We were so comfy... More

Beautiful location right in the water. Very nice rooms with fridge, microwave, separate shower tub, nice fireplace. The ferry was a bit pricey. The place needed a good cleaning, mildew in the shower, cob webs on the light fixtures, and air vents very dirty. Stayed on a Monday and going into the off season, food selection at the grocery stores... More

In September, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, my hubby and I spent two nites in room 405 of the Inn on Madeline Island's Lightkeeper building. The deck and comfy chairs were our place to rest after a busy day at Bayfield. The Lake is gorgeous. Our suite was gorgeous, the bed extremely nice, the linens soft and the hottub great.... More

We stayed in 405, in the Lightkeepers buidling. A great room overlooking the water. Had agreat meal at the pub. Unfortuneatly, can't recommend visiting madeline island. Not much to do. I would stay in bayfield, take the ferry with my car to madeline island for one day at the most.
