As noted before, the place smelled like mold and damp. I did check the room for cleanliness, and it seemed OK, if a little shabby. I stayed in the Brookstone for almost 6 months while working in La Crosse, and the hotel and staff were fantastic. The rate was amazing, the room was very nice with great amenities, and the staff was very polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks more
