Very Nice A frame House Right on the Lake with a dock, Great Fishing, Class A Musky Lake. Has Tavern and Restaurant. Great Wednesday night Steak Dinner Cooked on Charcoal Grill. Has partys for Packers, Badgers, Brewers. Has 10 Tv's In Bar with all the Sports Packages. The people that come to this Place Realy know how to enjoy thereselves. Lake is 4000 Acres with Bass, Walleye, Northerns, Muskies, and all the Panfish. Owner George Sutor is a retired Basketball Player. Has lots of great stories and jokes more

I have had the opportunity to stay on Lake Holcombe at "Big Swedes Resort" 3 times. We stayed right on the waters edge in a very nice 2 bedroom / 2 bath home. The fishing on Lake Holcombe was good, as well as the great food, (and cold beer) and hospitality at Big Swedes. I would recommend Lake Holcombe and Big Swedes Resort to anyone interested in a great northwoods experience. more
