Our family of eight stayed at the Wisconsin House the first weekend of December to celebrate my mother in law's 90th birthday. Altogether, there were around 30 of us staying in this well-maintained, cozy old stage coach inn dating to the late 1840s and located about 10 miles north of historic Galena, Ill., in southern Wisconsin. This is what a Bed & Breakfast should be...charming, great food, well kept, very clean rooms and most important, friendly owners...both Ken and Pat Disch are truly the most pleasant people you would want to meet. Staying at the Wisconsin House Stage Coach Inn is like visiting relatives you love to visit. The bed rooms each have a different theme to them, and charming details complete these comfortable rooms. You can't ask for anything more from a B&B. Ken and Pat Disch are the innkeepers and they love what they do. After you have been here, you will never want to stay at another B&B anywhere else but in Hazel Green and at the Wisconsin House.
