We returned to Four Seasons Resort on July 3 for their annual fireworks display. Towards dusk the grounds and lake get crowded so all can watch the best fireworks show ever! There are many fireworks in the area on the 4th but Four Seasons sets them off yearly on the 3rd. In total there was a little over a half... More

We recently had a late supper here after driving about 5 hours to get up to a cabin we had rented. Fabulous burgers, nice crispy fries, good cold beer and wine. Our waitress was very attentive and prompt. The view out over the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds come to the feeder while we ate. Menu limited... More

in-laws live in Hayward, every trip we make includes a visit to 4 Seasons for a Bloody Mary (or 2/3) and food. Friday night fish fry is great. Some saturdays Prime Rib is served, and wow, it is very, very good, served in au jus sauce and seasoned perfectly. Good appetizers. Fries are very good. Great view right on Nelson... More

We stayed at a private rental property on Nelson Lake, and went by pontoon to the Four Seasons Restaurant twice. Both times, the service was fast, friendly and delicious. There was good variety on the menu, and our son's (age 6) enjoyed the small arcade area following dinner. Both times, the server gave them both a package of M &... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Four Seasons for New Years. Nice view of Lake Nelson from their warm bar. The owners and other patrons are very friendly. The cabins are fully equipped and clean. Their restaurant has an excellent menu and the best the prime rib dinner ever (I believe it's a New Year's Eve... More

Special thanks to the staff at Four Seasons for making my family's trip great. We have stayed at many of the other locations in town and none match the true northwoods experience than this one. We have paid up at the others resorts only to drive back home with the empty feeling left in our vacation that was missing. We... More

The resort is located right on the lake. They have cabins and motel units. The bar and restaurant has great food, drinks and service -- also a great value! Nice place to stay with family. Good place to enjoy fishing, boating or just relaxing and having a couple drinks. The motel units have kitchettes, so that's very handy. It's also... More
