Julie and Jerry Zeimer have created a most interesting and comfortable B&B in Hales Corners, a charming town within an easy drive of the Milwaukee airport and Milwaukee sites. The home has fascinating decor and grounds are beautifully maintained. Fresh from the oven cookies greet you and sipping complementary wine on the enclosed front porch was a real treat. The... More

At some bed and breakfasts, you always seem to be reminded that you're staying at someone else's home. No so here. In fact, we rarely saw the owners, but the place ran like clockwork. Lots of great food at breakfast that satisfied everyone in our three-family party from kids to senior citizens. We loved the fresh fruit offerings every morning,... More

We arrived at this B&B in Hales Corners on a warm summer day ... the house itself is not air-conditioned, but the rooms have window A/C which worked fine to cool the rooms. We were welcomed by nice cookies in a dish and a note, and an entry code which worked great. Seeking something cold to drink, I soon realized... More

My husband and I, my sister and her husband, and my brother and his wife stayed here during a family reunion weekend. We were all exceptionally pleased with the house, our rooms, our gracious hosts, and the generous continental weekday breakfast. The weekend breakfast was the largest we have ever been served at a B & B and it was... More

Home with 3 suites - excellent "soundproofing", never heard the other two couples in their suites. Private baths, large rooms, unlike many B&B that have too-small bedrooms for queen beds. Weekday continental breakfast included large dish of fresh fruit combo of strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, blackberries, etc. Cereal choices, yogurt, homemade pastry (different every day and definitely not from the grocery... Myself and several girlfriends stayed here for my bachelorette party and had a really great visit. The rooms were cute, clean and very comfortable. The front porch made for a great place to unwind after our day. Breakfast was amazing! We would be happy to come back here in the future.

The owners couldn't have been friendlier in emails and phone calls. They were very accommodating to my need for a cool room. When I arrived (past 10 pm), the air conditioner had been set to cool my room (the Prairie Room) and the result was that I slept like a log. The air conditioner masked any street noise. The bed... We've celebrated two anniversaries at the Lawson House, in June of 2010 and again 2012. It is a very quite home, despite being located on a main road, a very comfortable, clean and relaxing place to spend time. The home is located near Milwaukee, if you want to spend time downtown, and we also found plenty of things to do... More

I stayed in the New York room at the Lawson house for three separate nights in December 2009 and January 2010. As a female business traveler, I prefer B&B's because they're quiet. The owners of the Lawson House were very accommodating to my needs; breakfast was left for me earlier than normal due to my schedule, for example. I wouldn't... More

Our daughter suggested the Lawson House for us to stay in while we visited her for Thanksgiving week 2009 after she took a personal tour. It was a wonderful choice. Continental breakfast on weekdays consisted of boiled eggs already peeled, 5 kinds of cereal in lovely glass containers, bagels, a variety of breads to toast, a toaster , a variety... More
