this place was recommended to us by a store owner as we shopped in Fish Creek and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and courteous, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Worth a visit!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in July. We booked last minute and we got room #10 with was a 2 bedroom and also had a fold out couch. We were pleasantly surprised it had almost a full size fridge in it. That was great-used it for our cooler items and left overs! The room was very... More

My family and I just left Julie's after a week long stay. It was my second trip and for the friendliness, location, price and the yummy desserts at the cafe, Julie's can't be beat. We stayed in the same room for both years and this year it was obvious the a/c was going to have to be replaced. Shane got... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Julie's this past weekend. It was very clean, staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and you can't beat the location and price. We will be choosing to stay here for our annual Door County trip !! Highly recommended....

Rooms are nice for an older motel. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Great location right at the entrance to the State Park. We visited the Cafe right before closing to get some tea and hot chocolate, they insisted we sit and enjoy even though it was 10 minutes to closing, we would have been happy to take it to go. Had... Awesome food, staff and location for sure! If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it, but it's very clean, comfy bed and spacious. Absolutely no complaints. Yes, it's VERY busy, but where isn't? We enjoyed the location because we could walk every where. The Peninsula State Park was right around the corner and we chose Julie's because we... More

In Door County for a weekend wedding and our cousins, aunts and uncles booked almost all of the rooms at the inn. The courtyard and little gazebo were perfect for gathering and spending time together while we waited for wedding activities. The rooms were plenty big for couples, clean, comfortable and VERY reasonably priced. Staff was professional, courteous and prompt. Will... More

Just got back from a long weekend at Julie's. We really enjoyed the stay and would stay again. One teeny issue that we had was that one side of the bed was higher than the other. (Room 9, the right side of the bed if you are standing in the doorway). Other than that, the food in the restaurant was... More

The location is very good for the American Folk theater and Peninsula State park. The room was large, parking visible from door. Bathroom a little dated, but clean. Attached diner served a good breakfast. Price was good as well. While we were not disappointed, we didn't feel blown away. There are lots of places to stay up and down Door... More

This was our first stay at Julie's motel. Upon arrival the front desk/cafe girls were very nice. I originally had room 8 booked which Shane said was all newly painted, new furniture, new carpeting. When I got there they switched me to room 11, no excuse given. The girl assured me room 11 was "nicer". Nothing I could say since... More

Thank you for your nice comments about our service. We are disappointed you did not enjoy your stay. Our motel is a work in progress. We bought the motel in 2010 and have been making improvements to the rooms since then. The first year we replaced all of the TVs from the very small dated brown TVs to flat screens.... More
