I've stayed 4 times over the past few years. The rooms were well done, fresh-smelling, and had useful kitchenette areas. The bathrooms were very modern. The continental breakfast is not their strong point, but it's not an overriding issue. The location is safe and convenient.

My niece and her husband live in Evansville, and we always stay at Boarders. Not only is it the ONLY hotel in Evansville, it is exceptionally clean, high quality linens and furniture. It was extremely quiet when we were there. Staff is helpful but not intrusive, and there is a continental breakfast every morning. Best of all, the price is... More

Two years ago, my mother decided to move to assisted living in my small town of Evansville, Wisconsin. This meant selling our family home which was built for our family in 1959. Despite not having any siblings still living in Evansville, I maintain many friendships with my fellow Evansville High School classmates as well as extended family in Southern Wisconsin.... More

I could write a book on all of the bad experiences I had at this motel. It is run by one man and his family, and they were extremely rude. Continental breakfast includes a waffle maker, but they never have enough batter out for it. If you're one of the lucky few that gets there early enough for breakfast, then... More

I found this Inn to be completely comfortable and the service was exceptionally good. The King Suite had a whirlpool, small fridge, nice work/desk area and the bed was lovely with Five pillows of nice quality. While I didn't have breakfast, it was available, including a hot version. Clean, Modern and well staffed ... I slept well and enjoyed my... More

This is our 4th. year at the Evansville, WI Boarders Inn & Suites. We stay long (typically 3 weeks) term and have never been unhappy. The owner and his family do everything to make your stay comfortable. Fresh, clean rooms and they are always there for you if you need something. It is truly "our home away from home". Thank... More

I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times in last 8 months. I continue to come back at this hotel because the staff is always courteous and genuine. This hotel's rate is reasonable for me and they serve very nice breakfast in the morning. My stay is always comfortable. Each corner of the room is clean and I have... More

Can I start by saying that we had booked two rooms to stay in. At 12:00 the day we were arriving, I needed to call and cancel one of the rooms due to a conflict. They would not let us. Most all hotels will let you do this, but the rude hotel employee wouldn't even listen to us or be... More

Evansville itself isn't much of a destination city, but this was the perfect location to stay during a trip to Madison, Janesville and New Glarus. It is clean, quiet and comfortable, and the owners are very pleasant and accommodating. As you drive down Hwy 14, it is located between the McDonald's and the Piggly Wiggly market. This is part of...
