i stayed here with a group and it was one of the most charming places that i have ever been. mary, your host, is most gracious! i felt like a part of her family! the home that you rent is awesome! i felt like i was in THE WALTON's! we spent an entire weekend there--it poured, and it was COLD outside--RAW COLD, but the warmth inside that home that we rented was like the warm feeling that you get when you were a little kid who walked home from school in the rain and when you got to the front door--mom met you there with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa....see this place--it is absolutely charming and the ultimate relaxing weekend or anytime....i recommend that you bring lots of wine, board games or cards or several good books. there is a cute little downtown or you can travel a bit and go to another downtown, hit the library in elroy. mary, the innkeeper/owner is the librarian, i think. if you are there to watch TV the entire weekend--stay at home, as the TV reception is... more
