Rowley's Bay resort was exactly what our family of 5 was looking for. The property is on the water with a dock and fishing pier which our kids loved, and there is an indoor pool/whirlpool which is important due to the hit or miss WI weather. They are near the northern tip of the county so while Fish Creek and... More

We were staying at this resort with a group of 42 people for the week for a Road Scholar Program (check out their website at roadscholar.org). This resort is perfect for a family reunion as it has a indoor swimming pool, zip line, boat dock, kayaking, Segways, etc. They have a bar, bakery and a restaurant. We also participated in... More

It was a bit of a drive from Milwaukee, but our family was very excited to make the trip to Rowley's Bay to celebrate our annual cousin's family reunion. The resort is quaint and very "up north", but although the rooms were clean, on our side of the building they were a bit dated. Several of my cousins had balcony... More

Good value for the price. Beautiful outdoor setting. Seemed to have a nice variety of activities on the property. Located on a very quite part of Door Co. It would be a nice place to bring a family to experience the beautiful outdoors.

This lodge gave me what I needed from a trip to door county: Waterfront lodging with balcony overlooking bay, peace (no busy highway coming between me and the bay), plenty of activities onsite, good food and clean. This is a wonderful lodge run by a family with history in the area. This is my first trip to door county and... More

Stayed here for a family reunion for the weekend. We were told that we could not gather in the lawn area in front of the resort unless we were purchasing alcohol from their bar. They have lawn chairs and seating provided but apparently you cannot drink your own beer while sitting. As a group of 18 we made a reservation... More

You describe a very different experience than the guests immediately above you on the comments. We would like to respond to each of your issues. Yes, we have lots of chairs out on the lawn for all of our guests to enjoy. You grouped them all together along with your truck and tailgate party of food and drink. As a... More

We stayed in one of the woodside rooms which was pretty standard for door county, nothing fancy. The bathroom was very outdated and could use some remodeling. The internet was very very slow in the room. We enjoyed the view at the hotel and also had a great time on the zip line. We ate breakfast one day at the... More

We loved our weekend at "Rowleys Bay Resort", it was so peaceful and beautiful, we stayed in main lodge. The views are stunning, staff amazing and helpful. Only one wish that it will be great to have more fire pits for guest to use and better WI-FI (but that's my husband wish, I enjoyed the stay and didn't want to... More

The hotel is very dated, the internet does not work even when it said we were connected and sat right under the modem. There is no food unless you get there at dinner and the dinners were expensive, the ice machine is hidden at the desk, there is no coffee machine and they do offer coffee in the breakfast area... We stayed in one of the vacation rental properties on the premises. Our house was very large and had an interesting layout - two large living rooms on opposite ends of the house which is good if you have many people staying there and need space. The house, frankly was very dated, but we still enjoyed our stay a lot... More
