We loved our weekend at "Rowleys Bay Resort", it was so peaceful and beautiful, we stayed in main lodge. The views are stunning, staff amazing and helpful. Only one wish that it will be great to have more fire pits for guest to use and better WI-FI (but that's my husband wish, I enjoyed the stay and didn't want to... More

The hotel is very dated, the internet does not work even when it said we were connected and sat right under the modem. There is no food unless you get there at dinner and the dinners were expensive, the ice machine is hidden at the desk, there is no coffee machine and they do offer coffee in the breakfast area... We stayed in one of the vacation rental properties on the premises. Our house was very large and had an interesting layout - two large living rooms on opposite ends of the house which is good if you have many people staying there and need space. The house, frankly was very dated, but we still enjoyed our stay a lot... More

The Rowley's Bay Resort (formerly Wagon Trail Resort and Campground) is at the very end of County ZZ in Door County. It is in Rowley's Bay but the mailing address is in Ellison Bay so that may be confusing to some first time visitors. What you'll find is a family run resort that started as a small restaurant and campground... More

We went for a family wedding and rented a cottage for the weekend. It was bigger than expected for a 2 BR and we had lots of room for our stuff. It was in a nice location close to the wedding outside and to the restaurant and lodge. Being away from the local towns and shopping, it is relaxing and... More

Rowleys Bay Resort is really a 3 star hotel, but it was such a great experience that I had to give it 4 stars. I have to start out with the fact that my wife and I did not stay at the resort, but 17 members of both of our families did, in 7 different rooms. My wife booked the... More

I have had a great 4th of July weekend at the Rowleys Bay Resort. A very nice family owned resort serving wonderful food,I loved the Fish Boil, along with a friendly staff and clean rooms. What completed my weekend today was when two of the maintenance workers rescued a Seagull that had got tangled in a fishing net. These two... More

Our group of six just had a very nice stay at one of the cabins on the resort property and would recommend it for those who are looking for a little more of a 'camping' feel where you can grill your own meals, get a great view, and enjoy a bit more peace and privacy - but also want to... More

If you are taking a trip to Door County, this area is nice but you may want to think about renting a cottage/home from another place. This wasn't a bad place and quick access to the Swedish bakery was a plus, also the heated pool was great for my toddler. We had 8 adults and 2 toddlers in one of... More

We stayed here for five night with a small group. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style with lots of choices. Quality was good. Always pastries and cherry desserts from the bakery. Service was OK. Wi-fi connection was spotty but reasonably fast. There is a lot to do on the property. There is a library... More
