Great location. Rooms are good enough and clean especially with water view. Best Pecan Rolls you can find in the bakery. A great old resort at a fair price. Front desk not real lenient with check out time. Our only complaint. Overall very good. Recommended. Quiet and away from crowds in the rest of the peninsula. I would return.

It's hard to beat the secluded location of Rowleys Bay Resort. The view is beautiful and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. As amazing as the location is, the staff is what makes the resort shine. Jewel (the owner) is so delightful and trains her staff well to carry out the operation. The resort is definitely... More

We were on a Road Scholar bicycle trip and were delighted with the lovely location, cozy pub, very ample buffet. The fish boil and talk by "Peter Rowley" was a hoot. The room was pleasant and comfortable. For a big place, it still had an intimate feeling because of the owner and excellent staff.

Beautiful scenery of the bay. Friendly staff. Off the beaten path. Cabins are pricey, dated, and in need of maintenance; no heat or TV in one; no coffee pot or phone in other. Could have been so nice.

Although we stayed at Rowleys Bay Resort as part of a group, many couples and families were there on their own. While the resort is in a much quieter area than most hotels, etc., in Door County, it still offers many activities and is reasonably close to Sister Bay, Egg Harbor, Washington Island, etc. The buffet is excellent and "Grandma's... We chose this beautiful location so that we could watch the sunrise on the east coast of Door County having watched the sunset on the west coast Door County the night before over a Fish Boil. While we only stayed one night, this would be a great spot to return for longer and appears to be well patronised by groups... More

So glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit here at Rowleys Bay Resort, I remember meeting you! The sunrise is my favorite too! I'm sure the zipline was a great addition to your adventure with us. Hope to see you again! More

We stayed in a cabin and it was dark and extremely dated. Also the indoor pool in the lobby was very dark and not very clean. The breakfast was ok but the bakery was amazing with great pastries. No real wifi which is a real negative.

Rowley's Bay resort was exactly what our family of 5 was looking for. The property is on the water with a dock and fishing pier which our kids loved, and there is an indoor pool/whirlpool which is important due to the hit or miss WI weather. They are near the northern tip of the county so while Fish Creek and... More

We were staying at this resort with a group of 42 people for the week for a Road Scholar Program (check out their website at roadscholar.org). This resort is perfect for a family reunion as it has a indoor swimming pool, zip line, boat dock, kayaking, Segways, etc. They have a bar, bakery and a restaurant. We also participated in... More

It was a bit of a drive from Milwaukee, but our family was very excited to make the trip to Rowley's Bay to celebrate our annual cousin's family reunion. The resort is quaint and very "up north", but although the rooms were clean, on our side of the building they were a bit dated. Several of my cousins had balcony... More
