Our tour group of 43 stayed here for 2 nights. They met us as we pulled up, had our keys ready and delivered our luggage to our rooms. Meanwile, we were just in time for the fish boil and the monolog on the history of the area. The actor, a retired drama professor, was both engaging and interactive with the... More

I went to Door county with several of my friends in late August. We spent a night there. Though the appliances are a little bit old, it is overall a nice and tidy place. The hotel is owned by a family which starts in the beginning of this century. I think it is right now in its second generation. By... More

This review has taken me some time to write, because it was such a disastrous experience, I don't want to think about it any more than I have to! Upon our arrival, after driving for nearly 3 hours to get there, we were all pretty hungry. Given that it was too late to dine in the on-site restaurant, the kids'... More

Although we appreciate comments which help us improve our service to our guests, it just feels spiteful to get something a year after the fact. of course it is inexcusable to find dishes in the dishwasher. You are unclear if you mentioned any of this to anyone at the time. Most people who take our suites appreciate having the shower/tub... More

We recently made our first trip and overnight stay to Rowleys Bay Resort. We can't say enough wonderful things about the organization and resort. We stay in Door several times a year and favor the 'out of the way' and locally owned establishments. We found Rowleys exactly what we hoped for as a destination. The entire staff was pleasant, friendly... More

Rowley's Bay Resort was just perfect for my girlfriend and me. We had a lovely water view from the balcony of our third floor room. The whole resort has been around a long time, but that's what made it unique and full of history. It was very, very clean and the rooms were very spacious. It is family-run and everyone... More

A family group including me stayed 2 nights at Rowleys. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and the beautiful scenery at the resort. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful.. The prime rib buffet was delicious. The pool was nice and warm and was very nice to swim in. The resort is a good spot to use as home base as you... More

Rowley's Bay is a bit outdated but we weren't looking for a world class vacation on a Labor Day weekend. It was far enough away to avoid the weekend crowds in Fish Creek & Egg Harbor but offered easy access. As hotels go it was a bit outdated (the rooms could use improvement) but it was well kept. The bay... More

Well…there were quite a few disappointments at this resort. It is like staying at Grandma’s house and when I say that I don’t mean in the cozy, warm memories way; I mean that it is outdated and needs a lot of updating (they say “retro” in a few of their descriptions but I think that is a way for them... We stayed at Rowley's Resort as we booked our vacation only a few weeks out from our departure date. We stayed in a wood side view hotel room in the "newer" side of the main lodge. The room was typical hotel sized room. The decor looked to be 1980's era with the bathroom floor being linoleum. The bathroom's toilet had... More

My family has returned many times to this lovely lodge, and have also stayed in many of their vacation homes. Highly recommend it for the ease of relaxation, very good food, excellent Grandma's Swedish Bakery, beautiful setting, and variety of activities away from the crowds but easy to get to the quaint towns with many local budinesses and artisans.
