This is our 3rd stay in 4 years at the Jay Lee Inn in Elkhart Lake, and we will be back! The huge old home was built in 1902, and it is furnished beautifully. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, and our hosts are extremely friendly and accomodating. We love this place!

This was a very inviting, beautiful place to stay. They have really put their hearts and souls into restoring and maintaining this house. Each room was unique. Very comfortable beds, and plenty of sitting room (3 chairs, table, and a desk)! Very reasonably priced and breakfast was very nice. Their dogs were a sweet treat - very well behaved and... More

I am originally from the area and came home to visit friends and family. My boyfriend and I decided to stay at the Jay Lee because it was close, well-priced and we prefer smaller inns vs large hotels. The Inn itself is quite large - 7 bedrooms. We stayed in the off-season, so it was incredibly quiet at the Inn,... More

I picked this great place from researching on-line -- so thanks to all who wrote reviews, now it is my turn. It was my wife's birthday weekend and relaxation was her key desire, with all the arrangements a surprise; well the Jay Lee Inn was a home run. We stayed in the "Lloyd" room, which is in the front of... More

A beautiful restored Victorian B&B 1 block from Osthoffs. My mother and I stayed here for Sat. eve 4/5/14 while attending a birthday party being held at Osthoffs. Monica and Leo were VERY accommodating and when we encountered lost car keys, stayed to help us look (missing part of their own family gathering, AFTER we had checked out). They insisted... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Jay Lee Inn the last week of August. This large, old, Victorian home has been lovingly and comfortably restored. Our hostess, Monica, made us feel very much at home and we enjoyed reading in the wicker rockers on the front porch and playing piano in the parlor. Breakfast was excellent and... More

Our family needed multiple rooms for a wedding weekend in Elkhart Lake. Monica was able to accommodate us and made us feel right at home. This was our first stay in a B & B and our experience has set the bar extremely high for any future inns we stay in! The rooms are beautiful, Monica and Leo are new... More

I stayed at the Jay Lee Inn for a week and could not have experienced a more hospitable getaway. The breakfast fare was divine and having Buttons and Baloo to greet me made me miss my own dog a little less. Monica has achieved the highest level of innkeeping, as far as I'm concerned. She's created a home-away-from-home that makes... More

In a word, great! The great innkeepers at the Jay Lee Inn were two of the finest most personable hosts we've ever met in nearly 20 years of staying in B & B". First off, with a major snowstorm putting a crimp in our original travel plans, Monica from the Jay Lee took the initiative to call us to see... More

Never having stayed at a B&B, I had no idea what to expect. Actually, I had a preconcieved notion that my fellow guests would be an uptight bunch of tea totallers. WRONG! The place was full of fun interesting people and the home was a beautifully restored mansion. The owners, Leo and Monica are two of the nicest people you... More
