Rates are very good for what you get. Location is excellent for walking in Egg Harbor. We stayed in a one bedroom premium room. Rooms are clean and odor free but hallways have a slightly musty smell. We've stayed at the Newport twice previously. We go to the Door in fall for our anniversary and I love swimming so we try to get an indoor pool. If you're planning to check out early in the morning, make sure you speak to the desk about it. There's no one at the front desk until at least 8:00 am.
