My family has been going to Door County for years but this was the first year we'd stayed at The Landmark. After reading some negative reviews, we were admittedly concerned. Our experience at The Landmark was simply wonderful. We had "Premium Lake View 1BR King" in the Harbor building. The view out the six windows was simply spectacular. It's on... more

My wife and Have been coming to Door County since 1973 and have stayed in many resorts in "The Door". The one bedroom room condo that we rented was very small and looked like it had NOT been cleaned for a long time. The landscaping out side was just as bad, grass was over 6 inches long, bushes not trimed.... more

Usually when my family visits Door County every year for the Pumpkin Patch Fest we stay at the Landings Resort in Egg Harbor. Unfortunately, it was booked so we settled for the Landmark. The resort required a three night minimum for the fest weekend, so we booked the three days. When we arrived into our room, we were very surprised... more

We stayed at the landmark for a week with out 11 month old son. The location was great-everything we wanted to see was within a 20 minute drive. The room was perfect for us-the only down side was the one closed bedroom(the other was an open loft) was very small. We had to turn the bed on the side to... more

This is a nice place. All suites but far too remote. It didn't help that it rained every day and the foliage had not turned but there is no breakfast place nearby and no newspaper in the morning. Door County did not show us much as the towns are too small and without the character of New England. If you... more

The Landmark misrepresents its self with updated or modern rooms. These are not rooms, but somebodies condo that they rerent out when the owners arent there. They never disclose that on web site. The condos arent updated, older appliences late 80's decore and our room had a 12" tv/vcr combo that didnt work. The over all condition of the room... more

After some of these reviews, I was a bit reluctant. However, the Landmark was great. I really liked it. We stayed in a bayview 2 bedroom loft in the harbor building. The view was spectacular. The room was pretty up to date. The appliances were older but worked fine. Our unit was spottlessly clean and I mean spotless - even... more

I booked this resort because I got a very good "end of season" rate. I was worried about some of the bad reviews but I really liked this place. We have been to Door County many times and The Landmark has the prettiest setting of anyplace we've stayed. It is not on the highway but back in a wooded area... more

We used to visit the Landmark quite a bit when my son was young, and back in the late nineties it was fine, but the beds have never been much to write home about. After moving back to the midwest, we have started visiting Door County again because we find it to be a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately the Landmark seems... more

This place was terrible, just absolutely filthy. The room was dirty, outdated, cramped, there was broken appliances and the carpet was old and black, our feet would turn black just from walking for not even 5 mins. The kitchen was small, outdated, had a broken stove, coffee pot, and broken utensils, the fridge was dirty and grimey, the living room... more
