We have been going to The Landmark for years and LOVE the resort. We started with a company condo and when we left that company, we wanted to keep coming here. It's been fun over the years picking our favorite condos (e.g. one bedroom if just me and my spouse, or maybe a three bedroom if we bring the kids... More

Thank you for the kind note, and for the many years of loyalty in returning to the resort. We have had many positive changes to the property over the past 5-10 years, and many more planned. For guests who haven't been at the Landmark Resort for awhile, the first thing they may notice is the extensive improvements to landscaping and... More

This is our third time staying in Flagstaff room 1103. The condo is very clean, bright and has a great lakeside view. The condo is small but very cozy for two people. The condo is nicely decorated and the new flatscreen tv caps it off. We always request this condo because we know it won't disappoint.

You touched on a strategy that many guests employ. If they stay in a suite where they particularly like the view or the furnishings or the location; they will request that same unit for their next visit. Obviously, you have a greater sense of consistency, reliability, and predictability when you stay in a place you are familiar with. Like to... More

We stayed at The Landmark Resort over New Year's Weekend. Each room is actually a condo, so we had a kitchen, sitting area, bathroom and a bedroom - plenty of room! Very comfortable room, but what was most unique and extremely appreciated was that the bathroom had a cabinet, so we could put all our "stuff" in and not clutter... More

We pride ourselves on providing a positive guest experience - clean room, attentive service, comfortable surroundings and good value. Obviously, New Year's Eve is a special event, but we find that many guests enjoy the quiet environment in the winter months. Thank you for the kind words. More

I stayed here with my wife, who was attending a conference here. We both thought the Landmark was a very nice place to stay. We had a first floor unit looking out on the scenic parking lot, but we could barely see it with the lush foliage around the buildings. The room was comfortable, and we were able to relax... More

Opposite the wood view is the water view. The Landmark Resort has more water view units than any other property in the county. And Door County is known for the water - with more than 300 miles of shoreline and the associated activities (sailing, boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, paddleboarding, etc). We continue to strive for a positive guest experience -... More

Stayed in TAN unit #2331 - 2 bedroom/1 bath in Harbor Bldg. Review of Landmark - Rating: Very Good Service - Excellent. Reception desk and housekeeping are very accommodating and friendly. We asked housekeeping for extra pillows and they were at our door in minutes. General remark on service in off-season...every place we visited is serviced by owners and people... More

For those unaware ... TAN stands for the Travel Advantage Network. TAN owns several units at the Landmark Resort property. It can be confusing at times. TAN does their own registration, and has their own set of rules. The Landmark Resort has a different set of registration requirements, interior standards and guidelines. For this reason, you can have two people... More

We have stayed here many times over the past 10 years and will go back next month for Valentines Day. We usually stay in the Chart House which is the main building, as it has the pool and fitness center. The condos are somewhat outdated inside, yet decent. The resort has updated the carpet in the lobbies and shared areas... More

Thank you for the review, and thank you for returning to the resort over and over. Updates continue. It seems to be a never-ending cycle. The Landmark Resort has had a flat-screen TV in every living room area and at least one bedroom for some time. This year, the second and third bedroom in the larger suites are also getting... More

The weekend was a get away for the two if us. The Landmark is in a,very nice setting where you can easily "walk into town" for shopping and eating. It was nice to have a heated pool and hot tub was comfy hot....just right. To have a fireplace, even though it was on a timer, was enjoyable. The kitchen was... More

We often stay at the Landmark, but please note the suites are hit or miss. We finally found one that was more comfortable. The suite we were in had a convenient ledge next to the bed to put a book, remote, or eye glasses. Little touches matter! The price is right in the off season. We had issues with the... More

The off season definitely provides a variety of money-saving options; see the resort's web site for special packages and offers. Continental breakfast is offered on Thursday-Sunday mornings from 7-10am (only during the off season). There is only a small breakfast nook with seating for 16, plus a few stand-up tables. With limited seating ... busy times can provide a challenge.... More

Scenic water views and natural beauty are the hallmark of the Landmark Resort property. The resort has four lodging buildings on 40 wooded acres. Even when filled to capacity the place feels like there's room to stretch. During the slower off-season there is often the opportunity for solitude, freedom and quiet reflection. More
