We had a great time at Alpine Valley. Very nice Wisconsin Ski Hill. Lots of options for all to ski and plenty lifts to handle crowds. Beautiful area and nice building and grounds. A little dated, however very charming and clean. A great stay and play resort. All staff was very friendly and food was great. We will be back!

we stayed for 2 days for my son's wedding. Got a great deal on golf/dinner/room package. The golf courses are in great shape and the food was better than I expected. The hotel could use a remodel. rooms were dated. The staff was excellent. Great attitudes and they did everything they could to make our weekend fun. I would definately... More

Attended a concert and paid a. Huge premium for the room just for the location. Room is 1974, mostly all original. The property was a resort 20 years ago. Staff and service was good, they did all they could to make the stay good for us. Had dinner at the "resort" bar / restaurant. Food was pretty good for dinner,... More

There's only one reason to stay at Alpine Valley Resort, which is of course ski in / ski out access to the ski lifts. It's a basic hotel with friendly service and adequate rooms. What is nice is having a convenient home-base right on the hill. If you're skiing with a group and some want to ski more than others... More

Alpine Valley is what it is. It's not Vail or Banff or even Devil's Head (Wisconsin)...it's a local ski hill for Milwaukee/Chicago. This is where we go to learn, practice and have a good time. You can ride the same black run (Big Thunder) over and over, tweaking your turns and having a blast. The detachable quad gets you back... More

I have gone skiing to several different places throughout the midwest, and have never had an experience like this. The slopes were over crowded, hotel room was lacking in many ways, inside the resort was over crowded and extremely loud. Parking was a nightmarish joke!!! For $140/night, it's not worth it at all. You could be parking your car 1/2mile... More

Although there were positives about the area, skiing and slopes, when you do not get a a good nights sleep, that can ruin any vacation. These beds were the worse that I've ever slept in! In all my travels across this country and not always in the most expensive places, these beds were horrible. If management would take a small... More

We stayed 1/2-1/4 2014. Just needed a fun little getaway. My hubby went there as a teenager with his family and I had never been. Pretty nostalgic place, loved the coziness of it! Slopes were a little icy but it was still good. Our room was back to back with the slopes so we were able to leave our gear... More

This place is not worth your money for skiing. Better places all over the state money wise and quality wise. Runs are way too short and it gets too filled on the weekend; even more than the average ski resort. Food was mediocre as well. Did not stay over night, just went there to check it out. Will not return... More

Have stayed here quite a few times on concert weekends. Before we always had a room that was kind of gross, however we were pleasantly surprised this year to have a really nice room! It was clean, and comfortable, with a balcony facing the ski hill. Seems like they are trying to revamp the place which is great because we... More
