A delightful couple runs this motel and they keep it VERY clean. It is an older motel so don't expect the Ritz but we ALWAYS stay here when we visit Potosi, WI. It is within walking distance to local restaurants, grocery market and gas stations.

First off the old lady who runs this is RUDE CRANKY AND CARELESS. The room smells like mildew and smoke. The beds and pillows are ROCK HARD very uncomfortable. The rooms are outdated very 70's. Wouldn't recommend anyone coming here

I tried to stay here in June, 2014. Both of the rooms offered to me had a mold/fungus smell. Since I have a need for clean air (who doesn't these days?) I asked to cancel my check in. The owners were VERY accommodating: graciously refunded my money in cash when the credit card terminal balked. They were both so nice,... More

I stayed here with my husband and daughter over the weekend last and found the motel to be of excellent standard. It is an old motel but he rooms were spacious and very clean and the owners could not have been more helpful and I would recommend this motel to anyone as we really enjoyed our stay here at the... This motel is a gem. Yes it has a dated feel but once you meet the owners you will receive a good welcome and the rooms are roomy and clean. You can eat at schulzie's Supper Club and Katina's and vist the grotto and potosi brewing. Good place to base yourself for trips round Grant County and Iowa

I dont know if the owner paid these people to write these reviews but let me tell you some truth. The old lady that runs the place is psychotic. I rent a room....and when I walk in I am overwhelmed by an awful smell. I cant describe it. Smelled like a mix between wet dog hair and urine. The carpet... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Plaza Motel. The owners were wonderful. This is a 50's motel. It is not swanky, but it was very clean. We were able to stay with our two dogs at no extra charge. Our room was very large. It was definitely a blast from the past. We went down the road and had dinner... More

When we drove into the parking lot and looked at the 1950s style of this place I thought of Norman Bates. But all that went away when we entered our spacious, extremely clean room. Add to that a price per night of just over $50 and we had ourselves a bargoon. And the owners are a very nice couple; nothing... More
