The hotel's Web site proudly states that the Delafield is, "Wisconsin’s Finest Boutique Hotel". I think a better tagline would be, "A so-so Wisconsin hotel that is lacking customer service and clean rooms". Maybe I am being unfair. Maybe there aren't any better hotels in Wisconsin. That is the only way I can explain such positive reviews. Don't get me... More

I always book flight and hotel on hipmunk.com due to extreme convenience (voted best by Forbes). This time the hotel was chosen by my host. This is a very classic, wood-paneled, quality carpeted experience that takes you back to the past. Large rooms, excellent bed, spacious bathroom. You can almost get lost in your room, or the bathroom, you choose.... More

My mom and I stayed for an evening at this hotel. What a WONDERFUL experience. Mr. Lang transformed this warehouse into a lovely guest house of 38 rooms and you FEEL like you were staying in an historic Inn but in fact it was converted in 1995. The restaurant food is by far the BEST that I have had the... More

Thank you kindly for your review. The Delafield is truly one of kind because of its Old World Charm. I'm happy that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay at the hotel and adventuring through Downtown Delafield as well. To have Andrew's be named the best food that you have had the joy in eating is a wonderful honor. We can't thank... More

I travel frequently to Milwaukee and I choose to stay at the Delafield hotel (30 minutes from Milwaukee) because I truly believe the experience is better than anything which I have found in Milwaukee. Tim at the front desk greets me by name when I enter and he and all others whom I have encountered do not hesitate to go... More

For the past year, I have spent two weeks per month at the Delafield Hotel while doing business in the area. What can I say? The accommodations are incredibly comfortable and first rate. The food is 5 stars, locally sourced. The staff? EVERYONE is kind, attentive and professional. Tim Pence the Front Desk Supervisor is professional, courteous, kind and goes... More

A great place for a romantic stay. The room was luxurious with an unexpected whirlpool bath with changing rainbow lights. Bed was very comfortable. The shower is huge with lots of jets, remember to look up at a shower head way up near the tall ceiling. My husband was surprised when it sprayed from way up there. The room was... More

I lived in Delafield, WI twenty five years ago, when the town was simply typical "small village" Wisconsin. I have returned to see that the "village" has greatly matured. The Delafield Hotel is an anchor to that development. The hotel is well appointed with quality, but functional antiques or possibly replicated ones. I am staying in an Executive Suite, which... My wife and I stayed over the weekend and cannot say enough about this rare find! Every suite is amazing and features a beautiful whirlpool for two and and a great shower as a bonus. Terrific in-house restaurant with impeccable and cheerful service. Food is very good and very well presented with many thoughtful touches. Live music in the bar!... More

I absolutely loved the hotel, it was a very well kept gem. The rooms were extremely clean, modern with an classic charm. The food at Andrews was exquisite and tasteful. I had only one complaint and that was the way TIM treated my wife when we called and inquired about the hotel. I received a gift certificate from my job... More

This is a charming hotel in a quiet town outside of Milwaukee, WI. The staff is clearly there to serve and they approach their work in a quiet, laid back and professional manner. In some higher end hotels, I have found the staff to be a bit over the top, but the people here clearly get it right. My deluxe... More
