The Village Inn was a pleasant surprise. We were originally supposed to go camping, but unexpected frost (in Mid-September yikes!) prevented us from camping, so we googled cheap places to stay in Bayfield Co. and The Village Inn came up in our search and we were so glad it did. We stayed in the Autumn Room, which was very cozy,... More

We enjoyed our time at the Gull's Nest. It is on a hill overlooking Lake Superior. The backyard was peaceful and secluded. It was a short walk down the hill to our favorite beach in the world. The inside was nice, however there were a few things that were not as we expected. The ad said there was a roll-away... More

We stayed there for 2 nights in February. Considering the cost of the room, it was great. The staff treated us well. we were short on some things, but if we asked them, they made sure we got them. The food we had was very good, but it was more importantly, unique. If we can, we will be there many... More

We arrived late on a Thursday night and the bartender was very nice to direct us to our room... and invite us back in for a night cap! We stayed in the "spring room" - which was like walking into a room at Grandma's house... butterfly bedspread, butterfly curtains... just very warm and inviting. In the morning, there were muffins,... More

I planned a surprise Valentine's weekend getaway to the ice caves and found the Village Inn after calling the entire peninsula looking for a room. We've been going to the area for years in the summer, but this was our first winter trip and our first extended visit to Cornucopia. We arrived late and left early to see the ice... More

When I checked in to the Spring Room, I was told the room keys were in the door of our room, which gave me a bad vibe right off the bat. That meant anyone could've gotten into our room before we got there. And maybe they did, or maybe the housekeepers just didn't clean the room like they should've. I... More

This review is for the restaurant only..... I'm giving it a 4.5 for atmosphere and a 3 for food, but since TA doesn't allow half points, i gave them a a solid 4 because i really liked the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff..... We stopped in during our snowmobile ride to Bayfield County..... The Village Inn has a... More

Our cabin was run down and dirty. They either don't clean them, or they don't care when they do. By morning the cabin was filled with mosquitoes and we were getting eaten alive. The manager at The Village Inn was very rude, and made us feel like criminals for not wanting to stay a second night. We will avoid this... More

We recently stayed in the Cabins which were directly across the road. Very lovely view of the Lake, sunsets and sailboats coming and going. They are cozy cabins with all the functions of a cabin. I felt the $$ was a bit high for the area as well as the inside. They could really do a little bit of an... More

My husband and I had the unique pleasure of staying at the quant B and B, The Village Inn in Cornucopia WI. We were pleasantly surprized with our room and the common area. There was a pleasant breeze from the deck right off the lake. It is not full of unessesary amenities but simple and sweet with a comfortable bed... More
