In general I found the tripadvisor reviews of properties to be very accurate. We were therefore very surprised that none of the reviews of the Jellystone Caledonia campground even mentioned the noise from passing planes (the campground is right in front of the airstrip of Milwaukee international airport and the planes come over very low) and trains (which blow their... After looking online at many different campgrounds we chose jellystone Caledonia for our week long family vacation camp out. Check in did take a little bit of time (had a lot to sign) but the receptionist was very patient and helpful explaining everything. This campground is one of the if not the most cleanest that we have visited, including the... More

They do charge you for EVERYTHING, even wood, you cannot use any wood that you find (is a campground for God's sake), the place is nice for kids, but after a couple of days they get tired of the same stuff, and is not a big enough place to do other things, like hikes, take walks, etc. The cabins are... We have been coming here for the last couple years. There is always activities going on and the staff that run them are so good with kids. There bathrooms are very clean and there is always a housekeeper running around cleaning up after people that don't know how to be respectful of their fellow camper. They have a jumping pillow... Our family and our group of friends that go with us, love this park!! And as far as any hidden fees...that is NOT true! I was told upfront what our cost would be. And why should other people be able to buy a site and then drag in a bunch of people? Its no different than the movies..you think since... More

This place tries gouging you and adding expenses even after you pay and have a confirmation. You cannot even have guest stop by with out paying a fee, you can't have kids without a fee, you can't have dogs without a fee, this place is a joke. It's be decent if they just told you the total price upfront and... More

Our family had a very nice time on our camping trip here. Our kids had a great time enjoying the park, jumping pillow, and pool. However, my only complaint is the extra cost of having their grandparents visit for the day. I agree that visitors should have to register but I think that $10 for each grandparent was a bit... More

We have stayed there for 7 weekends now and the current management has been wonderful. Anytime we need anything or have a question one of them is always there. We enjoy coming here and I have been coming here since a little girl and for a while management was on a low and the campers were really getting out of... More
