Way overpriced for a 1970's Bate's Motel experience. Dirty carpeting and furniture. Housekeeping is minimal - had to do some basic cleaning myself to feel comfortable. Customer service is almost non-existent. Never felt like my business was appreciated or even welcomed. more

Stayed one long and miserable night at the Telemark Lodge. Place is old, dirty, run down. Stained and threadbare carpet in the halls, peeling mailing label stickers on every door. If you are looking for a quiet and restful place that is full of activities, Telemark is the place to go. The history behind this lodge is phenomenal, which in my opinion, makes up for the somewhat older rooms. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, fresh off the press, pre-fab hotel, Telemark is not the place for you.... more

We stayed at the Telemark for two nights and cannot believe how overpriced this hotel is. The decor was awful (fluorescent lighting!), the bathroom looked like it was about to fall apart, and the beds were very uncomforable. The breakfast was okay but it took forever. We would not recommend this hotel. more
