We spent over $300 while staying at this place and have been there previously approximately 20 times in the past. When we went to check out, the male owner was very rude, interrupting me. My friend asked to have about 10 minutes extra check out time. Even though there were only about 2 other rooms rented that evening, the owner... More

A friend and I were in Brule for fishing, beautiful river and nice little town. The motel is clean, the water is hot, and it's close to the river. Our AC did not work properly, and I told them about it but no one came to check. Fortunately, it was chilly at night so we were good to go. As... More

Front desk friendly. Rates very reasonable. Room was clean and spacious . Had fridge. Wi Fi. Microwave. Only negative was the television needed upgrading. Will definitely stay here again when traveling this way.

The rooms are nice and clean...they could us a little updating but the price is right. Our only issue was in the middle of the night the air conditioner started acting up and we had to shut it off. I guess that can happen anywhere. I did read another review about a rude gentlemen and I think we met him.... More

While the room was a basic room it was more than enough for our needs. We were in town for a wedding and this is where a majority of the wedding party was staying. We had called at 10am to see if there was a possibility of checking in early, and the lady who answered the phone was very pleasant... More

Good location for those planning on enjoying the Brule river. Old school motel with all the basics. Clean comfortable bed. Needs new pillows as current ones are flat. Room has refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Overall the room was very basic. It's advantage is that it is right across the highway from Brule River Canoe Rental.

We stayed at the Brule River Motel for one night. It was exactly what we required. Relatively inexpensive, clean and functional. Beds were firm. Not necessarily new - but all clean. Marty the owner answered our questions and was informative. Remember folks you get what you pay for and the Brule River Motel this is a roadside motel in northern... More

This is an inexpensive motel that works well if you're looking for a place to crash. We were in town for a wedding and needed an inexpensive place to sleep and shower. We paid $65/night, which was within our budget. It's not a fancy place and it could use some updating and definitely needs a good dusting (especially the bathroom... More

I have had the pleasure of staying at 29 motels over the last 31 nights during my cross-country trip this summer; all have their quirks, but never have I encountered anyone so rude as the gentleman running the desk this morning. Sadly, he could not bear to speak to me with anything less than truly scornful language, which created a... More

PROS Convenient location for what we came to the area for. We spent 2 days on the river in a canoe or kayak and this location made it easy to come and go. Room had a microwave and fridge. CONS Pretty run down place, especially for the price we paid. Pillows so flat we laughed. Towels thin and rough, bedding... More
