We stayed at Aqua Bad recently for a week with family and friends. The standard of service and facilities were great. Having a short ride to the ski lifts in the morning and a heated boot / ski room at the slopes is a big advantage. We had half board. with breakfast and dinner being excellent. Talking with Nicole and... More

We have just returned having stayed 5 nights on half board terms at the Aqua Bad Cortina a family run hotel that is very comfortable with an emphasis on informal but high standard of service. Nicol and his wife are very helpful and friendly as are their staff, they go to considerable effort to make your stay enjoyable. Their Tyrolean... More

We have just had a fantastic time at this hotel with a real emphasis on relaxation. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the village right next to the cross country skiing track for those who indulge in that activity. We had opted for half board and this usually means that we tend to eat out at least 2... More

I chose this hotel for our wedding holiday of a party of 12 of us and cannot wait to go back. The staff are mainly part of the family run business and all are friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. As soon as you arrive your breathe is taken away at how beautiful it all is. The hotel appears to be... More

I admire full dedication of hotel owners to provide best in class service to their guest. It is obvious that they tought about every detail in the hotel. Warm place, with beautifull rooms, excellent food and friendly personal. In few words: I feel like at home. I strongly recommend this hotel to every guest in San Vigilio

Genuine, friendly and personal service from the family and their staff at this nice hotel. We all managed to wind down and follow the natural pace that we human beings should have.

We have just come back from a week dedicated to relax, nature and good food: all in all a week of full well being. The location is fantastic: on the threshold of a wood and close to a torrent but just 5 minutes walking to the centre of the lovely village of S. Vigilio. The hotel has also a private... More

A very nice, quiet and cozy place out from the center of the village, very professionally run, the owners are always close and looking that all is fine. Hotel transport to the ski lifts in the morning, skis and boots can be left close to the main ski lift and they are warm and dry in the morning.

Lovely, friendly, warm, family run hotel. Ever so gently quirky, but very comfortable, very family friendly, and terrific value for money. You get a nice ski locker near the lifts, a lovely jeep to take you to the lifts, family friendly staff, great rooms - and a nice hotel race together with some toxic grappa for those who race. Really,... More

A very good en nice hotel. Friendly staff en the hotelowners are also very nice people. It's a quiet hotel where you can fully relax. Breakfast is good, healty and various. Diner is also very good, a mix of local specialties , Italian kitchen and European kitchen. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and you have enough space.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A dream holiday among meadows and forests, alpine waters and legends…On account of its beauty, San Vigilio di Marebbe (1,201m above sea level) is described as the "Princess of the Dolomites." Our hotel is located here in an oasis of peace and quiet on the edge of the forest and the Rio San Vigilio, just 200 metres from the town centre. In summer, we are surrounded by green meadows and in winter white landscapes. The original Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, already mentioned in documents before the 18th century, fits harmoniously into the landscape of the Dolomites of Val di Marebbe, a gem of the Val Badia. It is a hotel rich in tradition, art and history that combines the charming atmosphere of time gone-by with modern comfort and services. Our hotel takes its name from the source of mineral water, Aqua Bad Cortina that originates in the woods, 10 minutes away on foot, and flows directly from our hotel taps with its beneficial qualities. ... more   less
