clean bathrooms. Cooked over a fire and some people stayed at a hotel in town and got a pass to come out each day. Did not have a view of the river, but close to the offoce and bathrooms. Butterfly garden was pretty and our site was quiet as we did not hear the neighbors.

Despite all of the other reviews about the management/owners, we had a nice time at this place. They were very accomodating and were not the "creepers" mentioned in all of the other reviews. We stayed in tents, and although our spot wasn't as ideal as other locations, we generally enjoyed our stay. It's a little overpriced considering the location, at... More

My boyfriend and I are experienced campers. We picked this campground despite the reviews to take our children on their first camping trip! ( 12, 8, 5) I am so glad we didn't listen to some of the crazy people! This was the perfect place to introduce our kids to camping in tents, cooking food over an open fire, and... More

I made a reservation in 8/12 for my family to stay in one of the cabins at Lost Falls for our family reunion in 8/14. As a family we have been going here every other year for the last 10 years. Not by my choice believe me. We have stayed at the Days In in town before but my parents... More

The goal was to stay beach side which is remarkably beautiful and kid friendly. Unfortunately all the river bottom sites were taken by a pioneer reenactment club so we ended up staying top side in the green sites 24, 25, 26. Firstly, we were given erroneous info about tent capacity per site only find upon arrival, between the three sites,... More

If you like being treated like a child, by all means, stay here. The nutty owners and staff constantly drove their stupid golf carts right up to our site, and stared at us. We spent all day Saturday at the beach. I guess the beach is just for show, because if you choose to sit on the sand and swim... More

We went to "Lost Falls" because we wanted to try something different from the usual Up North Wisconsin trip. We didn't see the reviews on here until after we booked the stay, so needless to say we were a little nervous. We pulled in the driveway and parked in front of the registration cabin and immediatly saw the "golf cart"... More

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Lost Falls Campground. The cabins were very clean and so were the grounds. The owners take great pride in their camp as I would if it were mine. Yes, they do have rules that need to be followed, if you don't like to follow rules then this is not the place... More

My fiancé and I camped at lost falls over Memorial Day weekend. We had. Beautiful tent site down by the river, shaded by a giant tree, that also sheltered our fire from the rain! The place was very clean, our site (32) had great privacy and space. The staff was super friendly, and went out of their way to help.... More

We stayed here two years ago and it was OK. We definitely felt the owners were a little weird (see all the golf cart creeping described below), but they mainly left us alone until we didn’t show up at exactly the right time to get picked up by their canoe shuttle. Then they were straight up rude to us the... More
