The goal was to stay beach side which is remarkably beautiful and kid friendly. Unfortunately all the river bottom sites were taken by a pioneer reenactment club so we ended up staying top side in the green sites 24, 25, 26. Firstly, we were given erroneous info about tent capacity per site only find upon arrival, between the three sites,... More

If you like being treated like a child, by all means, stay here. The nutty owners and staff constantly drove their stupid golf carts right up to our site, and stared at us. We spent all day Saturday at the beach. I guess the beach is just for show, because if you choose to sit on the sand and swim... More

We went to "Lost Falls" because we wanted to try something different from the usual Up North Wisconsin trip. We didn't see the reviews on here until after we booked the stay, so needless to say we were a little nervous. We pulled in the driveway and parked in front of the registration cabin and immediatly saw the "golf cart"... More

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Lost Falls Campground. The cabins were very clean and so were the grounds. The owners take great pride in their camp as I would if it were mine. Yes, they do have rules that need to be followed, if you don't like to follow rules then this is not the place... More

My fiancé and I camped at lost falls over Memorial Day weekend. We had. Beautiful tent site down by the river, shaded by a giant tree, that also sheltered our fire from the rain! The place was very clean, our site (32) had great privacy and space. The staff was super friendly, and went out of their way to help.... More

We stayed here two years ago and it was OK. We definitely felt the owners were a little weird (see all the golf cart creeping described below), but they mainly left us alone until we didn’t show up at exactly the right time to get picked up by their canoe shuttle. Then they were straight up rude to us the... More

Despite the reviews I've read We decided to go. We were arriving on a sunday afternoon and leaving Tuesday morning. We stayed in the fishy fishy cabin, very nice and a little more privacy. The owner ( Rose ) was just noisy wanted to know everything and taunted our every move. They were on their golf carts going up down... More

We first camped at this place in May 2009. This is very far/ remotely located from Chicago. So despite the long drive we gathered the energy to go. The first time we visited in 2009 we were impressed. We visted with kids, pets etc. Looks like they changed management. This time the management kept driving in carts every hr and... More

I read the reviews down below before camping at Lost Falls and was skeptical but did not regret the stay. Actually thought this was a great, hidden away as they should be, campground. As far as the owners, they do drive around on thier golf carts but I thought they were very freindly. Tubing is very enjoyable, not very deep... More

We were also worried about the previous reviews. We were traveling with other families and we get kind of loud after the kids go to bed but I am happy to say, we did not have any problems. This is a small campground with very nice looking cottages near the camping sites. The beach is awesome and my dog loved... More
