Jon and Sharon Warner, proprietors of the Gollmar Guest House, provides - as their website says - cozy bedrooms and sinfully delicious breakfast. But that is only part of the story. They take care of you as long lost relatives, and it a treat to chat with Sharon over breakfast. The the price is unbeatable. You can make use of... More

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Baraboo with a delicious breakfast. Sharon and Jon were gracious and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the end bedroom which had a lot of floor space, but taller people must be careful when moving near the fireplace, the sloping roof came down quite steeply.

Great location makes this well with the stay! You are only blocks from Curcus World and the downtown. The owners Sharon and Jim are very gracious and opened their home for me and my two children (age 7 & 9). Wonderful breakfast, too! Definitely worth the stay!

Sharon and Jon were a pleasure to meet. The house is well kept up, clean on a quiet street, in easy walking distance to downtown and Circus World. Breakfast was outstanding, with a large variety of foods offered. For the guests' use there is a deck, a parlor, a microwave and a refrigerator.

The hospitability was unparalleled; it felt like we were family from the first day when we arrived. There's a nice sitting room on the second floor for friends to gather and chat separate from the individual bedrooms as well as a small microwave and dorm fridge in the hallway. The breakast fare was more than generous and definitely more special... More

Jon & Sharon, Innkeepers of the Gollmar House B&B, have preserved and kept this historical home which they share with everyone fortunate enough to discover it. The rooms are lovely and genuine, comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is delicious, but we found ourselves more engaged in the conversation with these wonderful hosts. The Gollmar House has its own stories, but be... More

We stayed at the Gollmar Guest House so we could participate in the Baraboo Wine Walk (which is held twice per year). Their home is walking distance from the downtown square so the location is excellent. Sharon & Jon were amazing hosts and exceeded our expectations for our stay. Their house has a lot of character, including the cherub painting... More

We used this as home base before joining the extended family for a reunion at nearby Devil's Lake State Park, and were very happy with our accommodations in Isabelle's room. The bed was comfortable, and featured one of Sharon's handmade quilts. It also has a double whirlpool, but we didn't allow enough free time in our schedule to enjoy it.... More

My husband and I wanted a quick trip for Labor Day weekend so chose Baraboo - 90 minutes from Milwaukee. We stayed at the Gollmar Guest House for three nights in the Isabelle Room. Sharon and Jon, the proprietors, were extremely friendly and accomodating-they were great. Sharon's gorgeous quilts were all over the house, including on the beds. They had... More

We always stay at a B&B when we travel. The Gollmar house was THE BEST B&B we have EVER been to! It was clean, excellent decorated, charming, gorgeous and the innkeepers (Jon and Sharon) were EXCELLENT! It was the best breakfast we have ever eaten - and so much food! Sharon met us at the curb when we arrived -... More
