Overall Nordic Pines is simply a shelter/place to rest while visiting Devil's Lake State Park. Don't expect luxury travel here. We choose Nordic Pines, because you can literally leave your car park at the cabin and walk right over to Devil's Lake. Overall, the service was good. They were very up front with their cabins, older, no tv, no heat... More

We camped at Nordic Pines campground on a Saturday night in late June, and maybe a quarter of the sites were occupied. So our stay was nice and quiet because people were spread out. But we did talk to another camper who said they were kept awake until after 1:30am by loud talkers near their campsite, two nights in a... More

Not mowed, stinking pit toilets, little road maintenance. This is no place to spend precious free time. We are not fussy people and my husband is a year-round no-amenities camper, but we would have left had we not been there with other people.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and had a great experience. The website and staff were very upfront and honest the whole time. Check in was a breeze. Campground was very nice, with quite a bit of shade. Flush toilets in the bathrooms were nice. We do a lot of camping and are use to anything and everything! They... More

We chose this campground because of it's close proximity to Devil's Lake State Park, and because we could not get a campsite at Devil's Lake (our first choice). Unfortunately we were not fans of the campground at all. It was very expensive in comparison; the price of the site includes 2 adults and 2 children. It was an extra $10... More

If the idea of staying at an alcohol free campground turns you off, go somewhere else. If you aren't a fan of old cabins and all of their smells and creaks, this is probably not the place for you. I would like to address a handful of the 1-star ratings for Nordic Pines. First, if you are bringing a baby... More

Camped here with the Boy scouts, very well maintained grounds, clean bathrooms, stocked store with reasonable prices and friendly staff. It's great that it's in walking distance of Devil's Lake State park too.

The cabins are exactly what they show in the pictures and what they are described as. These aren't hotel rooms. We went for a family getaway before our son left for the Military. We had an amazing time. The Cabin was everything we wanted and needed. The rooms were great. The outside picnic table, and fire pit were great. The... More

We were here for an extended family camping trip. The campgrounds were nice and quiet. However, my husband and I rented a "cabin" for the weekend since we have a little baby. If the extended family ever wants to camp here again, I will be getting a hotel room elsewhere. The bed was AWFUL, everything was dingy and dirty, the... More

We stayed at Nordic Pines in July and were very disappointed. Now I want to start out first by saying that I realize when you go camping it isn't going to be luxury. I realize that to some degree you are roughing it. This campground however needs a lot of work. We stayed in a cabin and the place was... More
