I have been camping here since I was a young child. Devils Lake has such tremendous views, beautiful water and is a great family or group camping place. Very peaceful. No motors are allowed on the lake so no wake. And close to many amenities.

Very nice place very tranquil peaceful and beautiful. Nicely kept and a pleasure to spend time there. The view when you go hiking is absolutely amazing! The hike is a little difficult and steep but once you get up top it's beautiful! A must do if you are in the Baraboo area!

We were traveling across country and had reserved a site here.. When we arrived we were hit with an additional $25 parking fee, yikes!!! Most places discount parking to campers but not here. Staff was not friendly at all, but then they were park rangers. The navigation through the campsites is not well marked. We ended up on what appeared... More

Love this place. The camp grounds are clean. The beach was great and we even found a little side sandy area to walk in our paddle boards. (Which they also have some to rent) there's a few trails you can hike to see some attractions. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. We went to have a good time and that's... More

You will have a great time we loved camping here. I would say BRING supplies, everything in the nearby towns are very expensive. We picked up a few things and it was crazy, almost $4.00 for a bag of marshmellows, so plan better than we did :) Lots of hiking in the area, did some canoeing, did some fishing and... More

Devils Lake State Park is great to camp at. There are plenty of sites that you are bound to find one to your liking. There are fabulous hiking trails, great swimming and interesting things at the Nature Center.

We visited during the peak season, so I expected lots of people, but the campground was crazy cramped. The park itself is very nice. Pulling into one of the RV sites was like pulling into a Walmart parking lot - densely packed campers and cars and people running all over your site. The edge sites, apparently tent-only, actually looked OK.... More

The trails are beautiful! it was a quick stop for us, when a family member was visiting but we had a nice picnic. They could use more garbage cans throughout the park As we had to walk far to throw out our trash. I also attempted to go into the bathrooms that did not have running water... And will not... More

This review really needs to be divided into two different parts. First is a review of the park as a place to spend the day. Absolutely Devils Lake earns a 5-star rating for that. Over 4 days we hiked, we fished, we kayaked, we swam, and we will likely go back for more of all the above. The hiking, in... More

I just went camping with my wife and friends at this great park this last weekend. We had a great time on a very large campsite. We were on site 454 in the Ice Age campground, which was very large, probably enough room for 4-5 tents, although you might not be able to have that many people on your site... More
