I have had lunch at this property a couple of times in the past for the amazing view and decided to stay on a upcoming visit. this resort is a about five miles from town, very secluded. relaxing, quite. This is the definition of up north resort. miles of walking trails in the woods, great sunrise, pool, kayaks, fishing, live... More

This home-style resort reminded us of the lodge in the movie-- quaint, lake-front and gentile simplicity. Daily breakast was plentiful and lots of fresh fruit with hot choices as well. Lunch by the dock our first day was a high-light. We played ping pong, rode bikes through the wooded trails, tennis and kayaked. It was fabulous! There's a hot tub... More

Very clear signage points you to this lovely resort. Winding road leads to 1960's rambling ranch main house, and all other parts of the resort. Lovingly restored, but still the charm remains. Hats off to the decorator! Lobby features a round firepit with the half moon sofa to boot. Great views of the beach and Lake Michigan are available from... More

Nice play to stay and it was relaxing. Service from the staff was excellent. We stayed in both the lodge and a cabin. The rooms in the lodge were a little small for a family. We brought along a blow up mattress for my daughter. The cabins were really nice. They have kayaks and a paddle boat for people to... More

Delightful, lovely & a definite one week stay next year. Loved it! I felt we were from a 1950's postcard or Rockwell painting. Food was great (especially the pizza) staff friendly, and the new house we rented - exquisite! Only request, New bikes for next year please - the trails are wonderful.

Gordon's Lodge is an excellent place for a family reunion. They have rooms in the main lodge, suites in the Trailside lodge, and cabins. There is the lake and an outdoor pool. Boating, kayaks, bikes, fishing, beautiful beach and exciting shopping in the surrounding towns. The staff is GREAT! The on site restaurant and beach front dining is very good.... More

This was a nice, relaxed place to eat. A nice selection on the menu and we both chose the chicken bruschetta . Our waitress Brittany was the one who made our meal extra special though. She was over the top amazing and such a sweetheart even though she was busy with large tables! Our thanks to her. Nice local beers... More

We attended a wedding here, and stayed in one of the newer suites, which are not in the main building but a short walk from there. I can't think of anything to complain about. The entire complex is well-maintained and well-groomed. Our room was nice and large, very clean and had a full kitchen. We used the pull-out couch for... More
