Pros: Many free amenities. Great quiet location and view. Cons: Some rooms were a little outdated. This was my first time back to Door County since I was a child and I'd have to say that I developed a great appreciation for the area. Compared to the other lodges in Door County, Gordon Lodge is by itself overlooking North Bay.... more

Stayed for a long weekend wedding in one of the cabins on the bay side. The locals in the area mentioned there had been many upgrades recently and they were evident upon our arrival, everywhere except the cabin. Nice duplex cabin, awesome picture window in livingroom and porch looking out at the bay. Charming overall. The wedding process was smooth... more

We had a family wedding at Gordons Lodge and it was great! The event center, lodge, restaurant, fitness room, pool, grounds, tennis courts, beach area are all great. The cabins that have been remodeled are also great. The problem is that some of the cabins are still un-renovated and you could wind up in cabin hell. We had both an... more

Went up to stay and visit some friends that work there, it was so beautiful. Enjoyed bike trails, watching the sunset on the paddle boats, the bar and lounge area by the pool were maginificent the staff was overly friendly, and enjoy getting exercise in the fitness room, and playing tennis. Looks like they just renovated the place. Would stay... more

Gordon Lodge is a jewel located on a beautiful piece of land with acres of pine trees that meet up with the waters of North Bay and Lake Michigan. We spent our long weekend hiking on the nature trails, paddle boating, kayaking, biking and relaxing on the sandy beach. And all this was available right on the lodge property. The... more

Where should we start...Bats living in the attic of our unit..The smell of urine in the carpeting..The overflowing toilets or the smell of raw sewage in the air. Maybe they should show exterior pictures fo the "villas"- they are really cabins in disguise and wouyd fit in nicely in Guantanamo Bay. We also had no working smoke alarms .We asked... more

We stayed at the Gordon Lodge and it did not live up to our expectations. First of all, the cabins are very small and our supposed "lake view" meant that we could get a glimpse of the lake if we stood in front of the cabin. On our first night, the lock to our door broke and our key would... more

My husband and I were married at the Gordon Lodge last summer. Along with our 7 children, we stayed 4 days. We can't say enough good things about our experience. They staff were very friendly and personable, the accomodations were clean and comfortable. We had about 50 guests join us for the weekend and all were very happy with our... more
