This was the first time staying here. Happen to be there over the pumpkin patch festival weekend and everyplace else on the peninsula was booked. First thing, the hotel allows pets and all the rooms. I'm sure this is great if you travel with your pet, however, if you have pet allergies it's not a great place to stay. They... More

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback. We've had the inn since May and we are, and will be, working to upgrade and improve the property for our guests. We have replaced decks and porches and we're making progress on replacing furnishings. In the spring we'll be replacing televisions and upgrading channel service. We do get excellent WiFi... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage that was right next to the busy highway. It was close to Lake Michigan, just a short walk away at the Ridges Sanctuary. There was a fully functioning kitchen IF you had packed everything except the kitchen sink....literally. Luckily I always bring paper plates, napkins, tin foil, etc., for picnics and who knew... I was a little leery based on some of the reviews; however, we had a great stay here. We stayed in one of the two queen rooms with a kitchenette and found it to be slightly larger than most hotel rooms, which is a plus. The back bordered up to the nature preserve, so it was very peaceful and didn't... More

We rented a 1 bedroom cabin for 2 nights, and our overall experience was a little underwhelming. While the other larger cabins appeared quite modern, ours was totally dated and lacking essentials, all cupboards and drawers and shelves were empty. The excellent staff did provide us with plates, pots and pans after we requested them, though they were ready for... More

Expectations were not hight based on some reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. A lot of room for the money. We had a group of 8 couples and they kindly put us all on the 2nd floor. One of our group had the 2 bedroom cottage which worked out really as it rained most of the weekend and we were all... More

I was concerned about booking this place, based on the many negative reviews I had found online. But, the price was right.. and the Innkeeper assured me that the place was under new management, and that things were much better. Speaking of management.. the onsite managers are friendly and attentive. We stayed in Twin Cedars North... and yes.. it IS... More

This is the first time we have ever stayed at Baileys Harbor Ridges Resort in Baileys Harbor, WI. The staff was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Room was very clean and quiet. Hotel is very well kept and before booking our stay, I had emailed them several times and they were always very quick in answering my... More

I was somewhat leary of booking this place do to the other reviews but thought that we would give it a chance. Should had known better. We have stayed at a lot of places thru out the US but this had to be one of the worse places for the money. We were in the Twin Cedars South cabin which... More

Dear Guest, I apologize for the issues you had during your stay. We were leasing the Inn during the '12 season while working towards completing the purchase of the Inn. This held us back from being able to make many of the required improvements that we know the Inn desperately needs. I will say, we did try to set the... More

Ordered the room last minute, and can see why.....rooms were still available..... where shall I start? limited parking spaces (we returned from a drive in movie around midnight and there was no where to park, so ended up parking on the roadway, moved the car early next morning in pajamas, not a good way to start a morning) no windows... We are sorry that you were less than satisfied with our accommodations. To address some of your comments, we have a rather large overflow parking lot on the south end of our property. Perhaps because it was late when you arrived, you were not aware of it. We will listen to your great suggestion and add to our website that... More

I think Ridges Resort has a lot of potential. Its location is great - Baileys Harbor is about equidistant from all the major towns on the busy side of the pennisula. It is pet friendly and very near a dog friendly beach. The unit we rented was very clean, if old and outdated, and it DOES have wifi, something the... More

Dear Guest, We thank you for giving Ridges Inn & Suites a try and for providing a fair assessment of your recent stay. We also appreciate your suggestion to clarify on our website that WIFI is available throughout our property.
