Absolutely the best B&B we have ever stayed at. An old 1790's house that has been lovingly maintained. The owners, John & Merrie are a delight, knowledgeable about the area &, as a plus, prepare the most delicious and imaginative breakfasts. The room we stayed in was large and had a porch which was shared with the people in the... More

This was a great place to stay before dropping our daughter to camp the next day. There is some nice hiking right on the property. Accomodations were comfortable for all 4 of us in the garage/cottage with full accommodations. Will return again!

We stayed at the Asa Cline House about 3 years ago and enjoyed ourselves so much that we put it back on the agenda for a return visit. This was also the first B&B experience for our friends who were travelling with us. John and Merrie are excellent hosts and ensure that everything we need is available to us. The... More

When my husband and I stayed at Asa Cline for two nights we found a "jewel"! We stayed in Room 2 and our friends stayed in Room 1. These rooms shared an upstairs porch where we drank their delicious coffee in the morning and our wine in the evening. Our room was very clean and comfortable as was the rest... More

The Asa Cline B&B is a wonderful place to stay for a night or whatever time you have available. The B&B normally closes in November, however, during Veteran's Day weekend they take the opportunity to celebrate and honor those that serve. Although we only stayed one night, the home, hospitality, food and environment are wonderful. John and Merrie are wonderful... More

We love B & B's and we do try to have mini vacations at various ones when we travel. Asa Cline is one of the nicest ones we have ever been too. John and Merrie are excellent hosts in terms of hospitality, food and resources. The home has been beautiful restored and modernized with excellent taste. The grounds are lovely... More

First, if you stay here, and I recommend that you do, don't use Maps GPS to get there. It doesn't work. In fact my Verizon cell phone would not work in this area so make sure you know where you are going before you arrive. Second, the sign is partially hidden from the road. That over with, once you are... More

John and Merrie have one of the most relaxing and peaceful B&B's we have ever stayed in. They are an interesting and well-traveled couple living in a beautiful country setting, we were so lucky to share a few days stay with them. Convenient (30 min) to Winchester Va on good highways but far enough to escape the rush and congestion... More

The website does not do justice to this place. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. The owner's are very nice people and now how to take care of their guests. The house was started in the 1700's and the new addition added in the 1860's. The original log construction can be seen in places. If you want a place... More

Enjoyed a quiet, if rainy, couple of days here with the family. Husband was working in the area or we would have never had a chance to visit, this place is so far out there! No cell service. No Internet. The room was huge! Queen bed for hubby and I and 2 roll outs for the girls. All very comfortable!... More
