Overpriced, rundown, not very friendly or helpful staff. Will not stay again. Hallways are dark, tubs and surrounds are stained. Our room was decently clean but shabby. AC worked which was a relief. Had to fill an awful lot of personal information when we checked in. Had to go find desk clerk working in breakfast room to check out. Although... More

To say that this hotel is Horrible and Unsafe is probably an understatement. As a Police Officer I felt the need to write this after my stay on personal business. I was from out of town and it had nothing to do with my job. Upon arrival they will tell you that you MUST fill out a form (which has... More

First and foremost i have to say the owner Mak is disrespectful My family stayed from february 28th-june 1st. We had nothing but problems. Our first room our bathroom doorknob was broken when we got there. And our a.c didnt work. Did he fix it? No. He got disrespectful with my husband numerous times. For petty reasons. Even after my... First Magnuson and GuestHouse is one and the same hotel: the picture for Magnuson is not the hotel's picture (mis-advertisement, not sure where the picture was taken but it is not the hotel I stayed in). The hotel has both signs (one under the other: Mahnuson Hotel and GuestHouse Inn) and all accessories inside are from Days Inn. WHAT A... More

We were virtually the only people in this hotel. I think I saw one other visitor and there were only two other cars in the parking lot. Despite this, the owner insisted that we take a room far from the entry and on the second floor. As there is no elevator, and there were three of us, this was a... More

We have stayed at many hotels and motels over the years, but this must be the nastiest we have ever been in. This was previously a Days Inn, and the new owners did not even bother taking down the old signs. The check-in staff was unfriendly, the room was old and dingy, the bed sheets smelled like they had not... More

For what they charge, I expect better. Very outdated, "interesting" fountain at the entrance. Still used paper reservation cards. I stayed on the second floor and it had a funky smell. I saw old furniture in the hallway. Just looked very messy and disorganzied. Although close to the interstate, there's just a gas station, welcome center, and another 1986-ish restaurant... More

Front desk area very cluttered and had an 'odd' smell. The room smelled 'musty' and was FILTHY! Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, stains on the carpet, FILTHY toilet, the towels were not clean (instead of the usualy white, two of the four were dingy tan/yellow), the bed had blood stains on it and there were holes in the mattress, and... This hotel is AWFUL! As soon as we pulled up, we knew we wanted our money back. It just gets worse as you walk in. It smells like a bar full of smoke, it looks like you walk into the era of hippie 1960s decor, the beds are lumpy, the carpets are disgusting. As soon as they took our card,... More

My husband and I had been traveling for several hours and located this hotel in one of the hotel finder booklets from a welcome center on the Interstate. The desk clerk (manager??) told my husband that they could not honor the rate in the booklet and that ALL the motels & hotels in the area were totally booked for some... More
