Will go over my notes from the Greenbrier. First of all, it is a wonderful place to visit, and play golf. We enjoyed our stay very much Pro's 1. Forum and Sam Sneads at the golf course were great. We learned a great lesson from the first day. If you are not big eaters, order one of what you want... More

I feel as if I stepped back into the 1920's!!! This hotel is incredible. Each gallery is more lavish than the one before. There is so much to do here: hiking, golfing, biking, shopping, eating, swimming, and tennis just to name a few. The scenery is beautiful! The service is so exquisite I feel as if I am in an... We stopped by on our way through and this was a welcome break from the road! We didn't stay the night, but we spent several hours looking around and plan to go back soon. There is a lot of history to the hotel which we found most interesting. The rooms are stunning and the grounds are pretty much their own... More

This hotel has wonderfully warm service in a grand old-fashioned environment. The decor is awesome and the attention to detail is second to none. They even wrapped up all our cables in the bedroom with ribbon when they turned the beds down. Exceptionally clean and tidy but the bathrooms could do with a refurb they aren't poor quality or badly... More

Being a life-long West Virginian, I have heard of The Greenbrier my entire life. My grandfather (a C&O executive) and grandmother enjoyed visits there when I was young. I had attended a conference there but had never stayed overnight. When my husband planned a trip for us there, I was excited to finally be a guest. You cannot help but... More

We decided to go to Draper's at the Greenbrier for lunch. When we mentioned that we wanted to split the peach soup it was served in two small bowls, a nice touch. We each ordered the jumbo lump crab sandwiches. Hallelujah, finally a crab cake sandwich that tasted of crab and not of breading. It was delicious - and large... More

We just had a wonderful weekend at the Greenbrier. Draper's was one of the highlights. Great salads and sandwiches. Will do this one again. The ice cream deserts looked great too.

Food was great. Service was timely and exceptional. The kids enjoyed their meals, too. Staff was very attentive and went out of their way to help.

We stayed with our children in May 2013. The hotel is absolutely one of a kind. Every detail is grand and the staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are large and colorful. Unlike any I have ever seen. The place has so many rooms, public spaces, etc. that it is almost indescribable. Furnishings are lavish. Beds are comfortable. Rooms and... More

The food was great and of the few places available or a sandwich. Service was the worst we had on property.
