We stopped June 29, 2009, for an overnight stay on way back to Illinois. The room we had was freshly painted, new everything! Came through Wheeling on our way to NYC and decided to stop and stay. Room was brand new, still smelled like paint. Still some construction marks where they centered things and the trim was not complete. Heard construction noise the next morning, but not until after 9am. Front desk was most helpful and pleasant. more

The top floors have been renovated, even have 40" flat screen TV's and the beds are great. Down side; rooms have not been inspected well as there is poor workmanship and follow up on the details. The first floor, desk area and breakfast area have been severly impacted due to the renovations that are in process. more
