While driving back home from a 7 week cross-country trip, we stumbled on this gold nugget. Way off the beaten path, nestled on 350 acres of land, stands this beautiful log home. The setting was picture perfect, from our bedroom which overlooked a pond, to deer on the hills. The owner, Mr. Stalnaker, gave us a tour of the entire... More

We recently took a trip to TALA in Weston on July 13-15, 2013 and chose the Relax Inn. Mr. Stalnaker's hospitality was evident the minute he introduced himself. The property was beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was delicious and the history behind the property was quite interesting! We highly recommend this place to truly relax and get away!

I was very impressed with the history of the location and the inn keeper was very nice. We really enjoyed ourselves. I had to go to a conference out at Stonewall Resort and wasn't interested in their usual stuff. It's a little too stuffy for my husband and I. This inn was clean and we really enjoyed staying up late... More

Stayed here last weekend while in the area for a family reunion. It was easy to find, and lived up to the on-line info found. We were the only guests for that night but the owner was very attentive to our needs and even carried our bag up to our room. Tried out the pool later in the evening. Not... More

This is a place for outdoor lovers, and you should understand and appreciate hunting. If you are used to the back country, you will be comfortable here. The focus is on the out of doors, and the site has an interesting history of being a reclaimed strip mine. Take a mile walk on the grounds, return and sit out on... More

Seems the hotels in Weston are always booked up with traveling work crews, so you never know when you can get a room. This prompted me, as I had a funeral to attend, to search for a B&B, which brought up this one. Beautiful land and very nice log cabin home that Mr. Stalnaker built. If you want to be... More

Waking up in the morning to a view of a meadow full of deer and other wildlife was just a small part of our time at the Relax Inn. My husband and sixteen year old son and I were travelling from Philadelphia to Kentucky and decided to take a chance on this B and B in Weston, West Virginia. Only... More

My husband and I stayed here on a layover from our drive from NY to TN on our honeymoon. This place was right off the main thruway with just enough of a drive to be "in the middle of nowhere" without having to drive forever to get there. Mr. Stalnaker's home is absolutely beautiful and the scenery can't be beat.... More
