This was a last minute getaway I planned for my son's spring break. I did a lot of research online the weekend before, and decided on Soaring Eagle because it seemed to be one of the newest resorts and has great access to the lift. We were not disappointed! The lodge is beautiful and our room (a 1 BR) was... More

This was our second stay at Snowshoe for a long snowboarding weekend. The first time, my husband and I stayed at Rimfire (see my TripAdvisor review), which was convenient to the heart of the Village, but was also very noisy and had no on-site staff for any kind of assistance. So this year we were in search of a peaceful/restful,... More

I have been to snowshoe resort many times, but this was my first stay at Soaring Eagle. Its the newest development at snowshoe and they know how to treat you. I was greeted at the door by Erica and she gave me an explanation of where everything was. You park inside a heated garage. Unpacking your car inside instead of... More

I simply cannot say enough positive things about our stay @ Soaring Eagle Lodge Unit 409. The unit is well appointed and clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking especially at sunrise. The Hearth Room is a great place to read a book by one of the most beautiful fireplaces I have ever seen.

a wonderful and inviting property. However, ... Snowshoe builds their base from the village outward; consequently since the property is some distance from the village, there is a better than average chance of a shuttle ride to a lift. In addition, in cold temperatures it is just too far to walk to the village, pool, shops and dining..especially after a good... More

We stayed at Soaring Eagle over Thanksgiving weekend. I woudn't call it great but it was definitely better than Seneca where we stayed last December. They still advertise it (along with Seneca) as the newest accomodations on the mountain and the sales reps claim that both are a couple of years old. They are not. I think both were built... More

We booked a one bedroom penthouse unit and it was great! We had underground parking, lockers, hot tubs and ski in ski out accommodations! We are returning at the end of the year and will rebook probably in February.

We were at Snowshoe this summer for a wedding trip. What a terrific place to visit. The town is beautifully situated at the top of a mountain and had many things to do in the summertime, including great mountain biking terrain. It must be great for winter skiing too. We stayed in a beautiful condo at Soaring Eagle Lodge (#404).... More

This is a great place to stay for a lot of reasons, but there also some aspects of this property—and Snowshoe as a whole that you need to be aware of. We took a three bedroom, two bathroom condo in the Soaring Eagle complex. It was very nicely furnished, and eight of us were quite comfortable. There are three outdoor... More

Although the lift outside the lodge was not opened due to mother natures uncooperation, it would have been an awesome place to stay if there were snow. You slip on your skis or grab your snowboard, walk out the locker room and you are on the slopes. We did use the buses to get to the runs in the village... More
