Very nice decor. Comfortable. Walking distance to center. Very clean. Cleaning service every day (a lot of condos only drop off towels), shuttle right in front of property. Very comfortable bed. Kids even said pull out bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Yes, this is waaaay after the fact, but I am just now recovering from the most fantastic girls weekend in Snowshoe! The Corduroy Inn is fabulous; especially if you stayed there before the renovations--Hot Tub Time Machine is all I'm saying. We enjoyed the hearthroom, The Trailside Cafe for breakfast sandwiches, The Line Shack for healthy lunch options and The... More

We booked online on the hotel's website. When we got there it was closed with a sign on the door saying "Go to Allegeny Springs." We did. Were give a key to a room at the Corduroy Inn. Small, No Air Conditioner (the room temperature was over 80 degrees), television did not work, and the bathroom door just had a... More

Dear VAFairfax: We are terribly sorry for your experience at the Corduroy Inn. I discussed your issues with our manager and someone made a mistake and checked you into a room that was supposed to be out-of-service for maintenance. They were in the process of fixing the door and the room was not operational. As for the check-in being located... More

The hotel room was quaint and so comfortable. Fireplaces in every room and a nice big bathtub. It's located right next to a little coffee shop that has breakfast items as well. It's a little ways from the main village so perfect for a nice quiet getaway but walkable to the village if you want a some action. Super cute... More

My daughter and I spent five days at Snowshoe and decided to stay at Corduroy given that it was a new property and offered wifi. However, given the price I was surprised it was so small. Additionally, the HVAC did not work properly and our room was over 80 degrees regardless of what we did to the thermostat. They moved... More

Dear SCgirlatheart1: I am sorry to hear that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. Thank you for bringing the heat problem to our attention. We met with our maintenance people and we believe the problem relates to the new heated tile floors we installed in all the bathrooms. We think the guest units downstairs get too hot... More

What a difference a year makes! The Corduroy Inn is a new gem on Snowshoe Mountain! I was there this weekend for a girls weekend and can't say enough about the Inn. From the new exteriors to the decor and sheets, no detail was left unturned! We skiied for three days and the mountain access was perfect. I parked my... More

This was my first time visiting Snowshoe so I requested the Corduroy Inn. It was a girls ski trip weekend. We loved our room with the loft Room 206. It's very spacious and we loved the heated tiles in the bathroom. Everything is luxury with the headed fireplace and a wonderful view. Wonderful lobby too… after skiing we enjoyed a... More

Been going to Snowshoe now for 4 years. To see this new addition was a breath of fresh air. Old place was an eye sore and now this place was done to perfection. The restaurant has the best "Sloppy Joe" I have ever had. Coffee Shop is great as well. Hotel is really a great place to stay. We will... More

I have had dinner twice at the The Alpine and the food was delicious both times. Portions were perfect. Service a smooth and at an unhurried pace. For a break during the day, I went upstairs to the The Lift Shack. They have a killer cheese sandwich with a slice of ham in the middle - ultimate comfort food. Great... More

The word “Corduroy” in ski parlance means the best of conditions. Smooth, no bumps, effortless, in short the best. For being advertised as the newest and most luxurious lodging on the mountain the Corduroy Inn, however, falls far short. At twice the price of other mountain lodges it delivers half the amenities. Try dragging a 24” suitcase up a 24”... More

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay in our second floor loft rooms. I talked with our GM and concierge and no one had received a complaint with you during your 3 night stay. Had we known you were not happy we could have helped make your stay much better by addressing your needs.... More
