This is our second trip for Allengheny Springs. Both times the rooms were not the rooms we had requested and each time they have fixed the problem with an upgrade. The location is best for skiing in and out. Great kitchen unit, hot tub and close to restaurants. Great location.

First of all you need to know I have never been to a resort before so that will alter my view of this place, but Snowshoe Mt. took my breath away. It was amazing! It was snowing when we came in. Could barely see anything, but still I was impressed. Unloading the car, there were guys holding the door open... More

This is our second season using Allegheny Springs as our "home" while at Snowshoe. We continue to come back season after season. We already have 2 more trips booked and all of them here at Allegheny Springs. The rooms are spacious and useful. Great kitchen space. You can't beat the location of the condo - right outside of the Ballhooter... More

My husband and I were married at Snowshoe in 2011 and try to come back every year to stay in Allegheny Springs. The rooms are well maintained and the staff is extremely accomodating. We have stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and also a 3 bedroom suite. Both were very nice. The best part of the hotel is the location,... More

To me, this was a great location to rent a room at. You could see the main hub of Snoeshoe from your balcony. You can also check in directly at your main condo, instead of checking in at the main village top check in. You can also get your entertainment tickets and event tickets right there. I had a jr.... We stayed here for a reunion this past weekend. It was a little hard to find in the fog and rain of the arrival day as there's only a sign from one direction on Snowshoe Drive. We had a deluxe double condo with two full baths, a nice large living area and kitchen area. Both king beds were comforatable and... More

We have stayed at Allegheny Springs several times. I was a little less enthusiastic about our unit this time, but the rooms are privately owned so I should have remembered to reserve the unit we had previously. My son was intrigued by the VCR. We were there for a blues, brews and BBQ festival, and it was fun to watch... More

I stayed at Allegheny Springs for a Reunion, and found my room 244 recently decorated and very spacious--2br, each w/2Q, 2bath, den with a fold out couch and more seating, and a real dining area with a spacious table. I did not cook, but the kitchenette seemed well stocked and there was a large fridge. I visited in the summer,... More

Snowshoe touts this as their "luxury" hotel. I would place it in a much more average category, similar to Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, etc. Clean, but certainly not luxurious. We rented a one-bedroom. Fully functional kitchen. Fold-out sofa in the living room was adequate for the small kids, but an adult certainly wouldn't want to sleep there, especially after a... More

Our family stayed at Allegheny Springs in a 2BR suite, and we found it fairly spacious, well appointed and clean. Our biggest complaint was the noise. Our neighbors woke us up in the middle of the night with their noise, and the crowd in the jacuzzi was quite loud as well around midnight (even though the pool supposedly closes at... More
