We were in this room for the July 4th weekend. We had to check in at the Inn at Snowshoe at the bottom of the mountain. (there are more check in options in the winter). It perfectly suited our needs and is located in the village, which is very convenient. This room has a good bit of storage space and... More

We stayed for 4 days at Expedition Station at the top of Snowshoe Mountain and had a great time. If you don't want to read my long rambling review, then the TLDR version is that this is a comfortable place to stay with an absolutely fantastic location for skiing. As for checking in, many of the properties are centrally managed... More

We booked a last minute trip to Snowshoe and Expedition Station was offering Junior Studios. We got room 118. The room said it could hold 2-4 people. We had 2 kids, 2 adults. Although it was a tight squeeze, the room was very nice and hit the spot. Internet worked great in the hotel. The gem of this hotel is... More

This was our very first time visiting Snowshoe. We read the reviews and chose this place for the location directly on the slopes and the affordable rental rates. We were very pleased with our choice! Although we didn't have a slope view, it was still beautiful sitting by the window, looking out over the village. This place gives you a... More

Went to Snowshoe as part of a group of 7 adults. We had a 3 room deluxe suite. The rooms were very spacious - 1 king bed, 2 queen beds. Two rooms had attached bathrooms, with the third room sharing a bathroom with the commons area. Room was on the 4th floor, slope side and, offered great views of the... More

Just stayed at Expedition Station during our first trip to Snowshoe - my husband and I traveled with part of a larger group and shared our studio with another couple. The resort is beautiful, there are great amenities, and the price is good. Our room was sufficient - not huge, but adequate. Though the room sleeps 4, there was only... More

first off, the location is perfect. The building is slope side and you exit the locker room right onto the ski slopes. Also, one of the resort's rental shops is located inside the building. The only real problem is with housekeeping and cleanliness. Our room, which was on the 4th floor, facing the village, was pretty dirty when we checked... More

We crammed 5 people into our junior studio deluxe and it was small, but totally manageable for a ski trip. You wake up, walk down the hall to the ski locker room, grab your gear, walk out the door and you are on the slopes ready to shred. The bed was very comfortable. I was ready for a terrible bed... The rooms are really small. They are furnished with a double platform bed and a pull out couch. There is a mini fridge, two stove burner and microwave. With for people, it is really difficult to move around the room. There also is no hot tub on site. Parking is located across the street. You are in the village with... More

Having the ski rental within the building is great. Ski in / ski out accommodations with ski lockers. Close proximity to restaurants and multiple Lifts - if you're choosing a location Expedition Station is great. The room itself is fine; however, the bedding, mattresses, and blankets are sub-par. I would recommend bringing your own if you can. Our sheets had... More
