We were looking for a quiet getaway that didn't revolve around the touristy commercialism, and we found it at the Morning Glory Inn. Karin and Rod opened their doors with gracious hospitality, soft blankets and pillows, beautiful scenary and delicious food. Quiet and cool mountain air wrapped this visit up into a spectacular couples' getaway. Huge room with spacious bath... More

The Morning Glory Inn (B&B) was our motorcycle pivot point for three couples riding the mountain roads of West Virginia. Rod and Karin were fabulous hosts. Clean spacious rooms, large sitting room, comfy porch surrounded with greenery and hummingbirds! What a beautiful peaceful setting. Rod and Karin provided everything we needed, even rags to wipe the morning dew from our... More

I was very impressed with the layout of the lodge and the grounds. It is so quiet here, and was amazing sitting on the front porch as daylight dimmed to night. The rooms were well decorated, and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a sort of a spread, with fruit, home made granola, and the best home made salsa Verde I've ever... More

This was our first experience in staying in a B&B. Rod and Karen are excellent hosts. Very clean, large rooms. Great porch to sit on and watch the humming birds. Someone has a green thumb! Love the breakfast. Karen makes excellent granola [brought a bag home with me]. Rod has the cheesy scramble eggs down to a science. Very quite... More

Rod and Karen are wonderful hosts. They make you feel at home. Great nutritious buffet breakfast. Large comfortable rooms and long porch to relax on. Tranquil setting in the mountains. Even with an all day rain the spacious room and lovely porch provided space for relaxing and reading. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

We have stayed here twice, and loved everything about this B&B. It has large rooms, very clean and comfortable. It has a beautiful porch with plenty of flowers, plenty of porch furniture to sit on. There is a humming bird feeder hanging next to the porch and it was enjoyable to watch the humming birds as they ate. The host... More

We loved everything about this B&B! Having said that, be sure to get specific directions as the address will not come up on a GPS and once you are down in those hills, you will NOT have cell service. The reason for that is the WV Space center. There are cordinates given on their website but our GPS does not... More

Thanks so much. Glad you liked our place. My husband and I work hard to make people happy. Your right the gps does not work very well here. We have directions at the bottom of our web site to help people. Our address is very new. Until recently everything around here was a po number. Hopefully as time goes by... More

They have a way of anticipating what you need - and providing it. Absolutely gorgeous space - the house and the mountain itself. I was able to take a long walk when we got there and then have a glass of wine (which I'd brought in a cooler) on the big porch.

The inn was very nice - beautiful setting, large room, very clean and comfortable. The comfort of a luxury hotel but the warmth of being in someone's home. And the hosts were also great. We weren't around much, but enjoyed talking with them over breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious - make sure to try the scrambled eggs with cheese. Mmm.... More

If you are looking for a quiet and restful retreat, than the Morning Glory Inn in West Virginia (WV) is the place to visit. What a serene and peaceful Bed and Breakfast Inn managed by Rod and Karin, who by the way were the most pleasant and friendly hosts I’ve ever met. Upon our arrival to the Inn Rod greeted... More
