My state is so precious to me and Morning Glory Inn is my cloud. They helped my family for this spur of the moment trip with gracious speedy acceptance. They met us for our late night arrival cheerfully. Our every need was there and the hosts are the "Most". So come to West Virginia see how we relax at the... More

We were looking for a quiet retreat to use as a base of local wandering. We found it at Morning Glory. Friendly and helpful owners and from here we were able to visit many local and scenic parks from the Cass RR to Beartown State Park, from Green Banks to Droop Mt battlefield. Watch out for bears and deer on... More

We (2 couples) were between train riding trips in West Virginia and picked the Morning Glory Inn for its location. What a smart choice! Rod & Karin were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and quiet. We had a bottle of wine along and were happy to notice all the wine glasses near the front door when we... More

We were looking for a quiet getaway that didn't revolve around the touristy commercialism, and we found it at the Morning Glory Inn. Karin and Rod opened their doors with gracious hospitality, soft blankets and pillows, beautiful scenary and delicious food. Quiet and cool mountain air wrapped this visit up into a spectacular couples' getaway. Huge room with spacious bath... More

The Morning Glory Inn (B&B) was our motorcycle pivot point for three couples riding the mountain roads of West Virginia. Rod and Karin were fabulous hosts. Clean spacious rooms, large sitting room, comfy porch surrounded with greenery and hummingbirds! What a beautiful peaceful setting. Rod and Karin provided everything we needed, even rags to wipe the morning dew from our... More

I was very impressed with the layout of the lodge and the grounds. It is so quiet here, and was amazing sitting on the front porch as daylight dimmed to night. The rooms were well decorated, and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a sort of a spread, with fruit, home made granola, and the best home made salsa Verde I've ever... More

This was our first experience in staying in a B&B. Rod and Karen are excellent hosts. Very clean, large rooms. Great porch to sit on and watch the humming birds. Someone has a green thumb! Love the breakfast. Karen makes excellent granola [brought a bag home with me]. Rod has the cheesy scramble eggs down to a science. Very quite... More

Rod and Karen are wonderful hosts. They make you feel at home. Great nutritious buffet breakfast. Large comfortable rooms and long porch to relax on. Tranquil setting in the mountains. Even with an all day rain the spacious room and lovely porch provided space for relaxing and reading. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

We have stayed here twice, and loved everything about this B&B. It has large rooms, very clean and comfortable. It has a beautiful porch with plenty of flowers, plenty of porch furniture to sit on. There is a humming bird feeder hanging next to the porch and it was enjoyable to watch the humming birds as they ate. The host... More

We loved everything about this B&B! Having said that, be sure to get specific directions as the address will not come up on a GPS and once you are down in those hills, you will NOT have cell service. The reason for that is the WV Space center. There are cordinates given on their website but our GPS does not... More

Thanks so much. Glad you liked our place. My husband and I work hard to make people happy. Your right the gps does not work very well here. We have directions at the bottom of our web site to help people. Our address is very new. Until recently everything around here was a po number. Hopefully as time goes by... More
