Like the reviewer above, I concur, yet with a higher rating. The Mecklenberg Inn has live music tuesday and wednesdays, where the best of the local artists come out to jam. Many of them are recording artists. It's a quirky town, and one might see 40 nose rings on a typical weekend. The Yellow Brick Bank Inn is the place to eat...hands down.German St Coffee and Candlery might just be the best gift shop I have ever been in. The owner Deb Luksa (?) wife of the Yellow Brick's Executive Chef, has put together an atmospheric shop with style and grace. Her eclectic picks are only exceeded by her good taste. If you aren't into the music scene, I suggest the Clarion or Bavarian..but if you have the taste for a Boulder, Colorado type experience...the Meck is for you. more
