We had a wonderful short stay at the Seneca House. We were greeted by Shelly and her dog. The house is a very quiet and peaceful place. With lots of interesting things to look at. The beds are extremely comfortable and warm. I liked the fact that we had our own heater in the room to which you could control... More

My husband, dog, and I loved our stay in this adorable cabin. The room was warm and cozy, the bathroom was clean, and the living/dining/kitchen was the perfect definition of comfortable mountain cabin retreat. Our chihuahua got along well with the resident dogs, and we loved our morning walk by the variety of farm animals on this little homestead. I... More

We arrived late on a dark rainy night and were very grateful that we'd gotten directions from someone before heading over as our phones and GPS weren't working in the area. As we drove down the dark narrow road on a rainy night without cell service we were all thinking "this is how horror movies start!". We were relieved and... More

My wife and I booked a last minute room at the Seneca House for a weekend trip of climbing at Seneca Rocks. Shelly was very accommodating and was the perfect host. We were impressed at the amount of work it took her and her friends to build this house. The layout and decorations are spacious yet have unique character. I... More

A lovely weekend of climbing and amazing accommodations at Seneca House. Shellie was super friendly and welcoming. Bubba Lou was also super friendly. It was a great relaxing atmosphere after a long day of climbing. The house is gorgeous. I will certainly be back!

We were looking for lodging near Seneca Rocks for a 1 night stop. I happened to see this place on Tripadvisor, read the reviews, & thought "Why not?" We were not disappointed! Bubba Lou is so cool. What a great welcome he gives! Shannon, the male goat had "escaped" from his enclosure & performed an entertaining game of chase with... More

My father and I stayed at the Seneca house's renovated barn. When we arrived we were greeted by Bubba Lou, the owner's dog, and Shelly, the owner. Shelly was incredibly kind and hospitable she also was very helpful in answering our questions about the area. The Barn was adorable and cozy, though a little chilly at night it was worth... More

Unique experience that will provide great memories! We loved waking up to the cockle doodle do of the resident rooster. Kids loved the chickens and goats. The barn room is clean with a microwave and refrigerator. The rainstorm in the night was soothing with the pitter pat on the rooftop. We would definetly return and highly recommend a stay at... More

My husband and I wanted to find lodging close to Seneca Rocks. Our daughter told us about Seneca House. We chose to stay in The Barn, a new addition to the Seneca House (hostel style) offering. We were amazed at the craftsman detail that went into The Barn. Considering the Seneca Rocks setting, it is remarkable that Seneca House/ The... More

Our stay at The Barn was dreamy. We felt so removed from the stresses of city life, and so at peace in the quaint and cozy quarters. The gentle rushing of the creek and melodic chirping of the birds put us into a deep and satisfied slumber. The sites around the Seneca House Barn are incredible too... lush forests, Seneca... More
