We are newlyweds, this is where we chose to spend our honeymoon for a weekend. The jacuzzi tub is a joke, not enough hot water to fill it past the jets. Not heated for sure. The odor of the water was gagging. It is definitely not what they advertised. Then the housekeeping staff left a envelope asking for a tip.... More

this was a decent and very clean cabin. the only thing was that there were a couple of cigarette burns on the sofa, a cracked outer window, and was getting dated. for $150 a night, it should be kept up better, as there are a lot of other cabins in the area. the cleanliness was the saving grace on it.

An overnight stay - choose the back to not hear the traffic Room 56!! . Very large room! Usual amenities: microwave, fridge, with table and chairs. AC works very well. No shampoo or lux items so bring your own. They need new towels. Large veranda with swings!! Great for people watching!! Beautiful views of Seneca Rocks. No real breakfast food... More

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend camping in the teepee village, because after I found out you could camp in a teepee there was no turning back. We had an amazing view of the rocks all weekend. It was rainy off and on throughout the stay, and there were no leaks inside. There was enough space for a queen... More

My family stayed in a room above the general store. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. TV reception was limited. The location had wonderful porch swings. The noise from the intersection of US 33/WV 28 can be loud in the late morning due to transfer trucks. Yokum's location near the best the Potomac Highlands has to... More

The family cabins have a great view of Seneca Rocks. Maintenance seems to be lacking however. The shower was clearly leaking behind the wooden wall by the shower head and the oven light was burnt out. IO mentioned this to the manager and was told that they can't find anyone to fix the leak. Otherwise a very nice visit. The... More

Our family recently stayed in cabin #23. The overall appearance from the outside looked to be clean....but just step inside and you will see differently. After being there for about 5 minutes our feet were completely black, from the dirt and grime on the floor. The sheets looked as if they had not been cleaned for at least 10 years.... More

We went on the spur of the moment without reservations. The main attraction was the location, and that the "cabin" had a whirlpool tub. The cabin was fairly nice, but filthy. The tub had a ring, so I cleaned it before getting in it. I had added bubbles, so didn't notice at first that the water was black, with chunks... More

I just returned from a two night stay at Yokum's Vacationland. Trust me that most of these reviews are not exaggerated. I called and reserved two of the kitchenette rooms over the general store. This was because of the reviews. I thought a view of the rocks, a clean bed and a nice shower would be a fine base camp.... More
